“Just had a top notch dinner at Havana. And as someone who has to eat gluten free I was so impressed when the waiter brought out gluten free bread for me when he brought out bread for the table AND my own butter/spreads for it so there wasn’t cross contamination. Every dish we ate was amazing. Do not overlook the vegan option! My daughter (not vegan) thought it was one of the best meals she has eaten in years.“

“It was our first day in Bar Harbor and we chose Galyn’s for dinner. It was delicious. We sat on their front porch overlooking the harbor. The food was great and our waitress was so nice; very pleasant. We had the stuffed crab mushrooms, haddock sandwiches and blueberry crisp-a la mode for dessert. Yummy.“

“July 2026. We stopped in for two cocktails and lunch. Cocktails were very good and not short on alcohol. Sat outside along sidewalk, and the view was great. Service was professional, right down to uniformed wait staff, commensurate with a five star joint. We shared the corned beef Ruben which was excellent. Shaved thin, fat attached, with an excellent horseradish mustard dressing. Excellent spiced, but not spicy, fries.“

“The best mint ice cream I have ever had! So fresh, could see the bits of mint leaves i. The ice cream and was so intense & refreshing! My sister-in-law had the cardamom & cinnamon which was also lovely! A little pricey but worth it for such delicious flavors & good ingredients!“

“Wicked awesome to find a restaurant that has great food, is reasonably priced (for Bar Harbor) and also caters to food allergies! I’ve recently come up with some food sensitivities and can no longer have gluten or dairy, and these guys acted like it was no big deal at all. We will definitely be back next time we are in town!“

“Slice of Eden made our wedding cupcakes last year and they were fantastic! We had half of them made as chocolate with Swiss buttercream icing and half blueberry lemon cupcakes with whipped cream icing. They were a huge hit and gone so fast! We decided to have them make us a small blueberry lemon cake with whipped cream icing for our anniversary this year since we did not have one to save from our wedding. They knocked it out of the park! I can’t say enough good things about this place!“

“CJ’s Big Dipper is exactly what an ice cream shop should be: lots of awesome flavors, great ice cream, sherbet, and vegan options so nobody gets left behind. The servings are generous, the line moves fast, and the staff knows what they’re doing.
Are they going to spend 10 minutes making your kid feel like the 1,000th adorable customer of the day just discovered ice cream for the first time? 😂 Nope. They’re friendly, efficient, and maybe a little blunt — but in the best way. They’re there to hand you a seriously good scoop, not perform a Broadway production about it.
And honestly? I love that. Give me the delicious ice cream, the healthy portion, the quick service, and the people who clearly know their craft. CJ’s Big Dipper delivers. 🍦“

“The best lobster roll in Maine! We were nervous he was closed but he is open 11-3 pm! I believe closed Saturdays! SUCH GOOD food and the blueberry pie and the homemade lemonade!! Everything is outstanding! Thank you Don and Crew for the warm hospitality every time we visit and the best food!“
