“I absolutely love this place. I always make it there on a Friday night, for obvious reasons, LOL! The bartenders are a joy to be around, and really bring the atmosphere together. The beers are cheap, and the food is decent for bar food (I normally get the buffalo wrap or the steak bites). Mostly an older crowd, but everyone is there to have a good time and that’s what I always have! Can’t go wrong with a bucket of beer.“

“My daughter had her 8th birthday party here. I was seriously impressed. It is very clean and well kept! The staff was very attentive. I had to tack on, last minute, extra pizzas and pop because I had more show up than expected. The staff made it happen quickly, didn't miss a beat! They were very nice. Happy to help us. The kids and adults had a blast! I would highly recommend. I even got compliments from other parents. Thank you Roosevelt lanes and the wonderful women and young man that took excellent care of us! “I’m a care giver for the sweetest little lady named rose. This morning while we were waiting for the elevator I complemented her sweater and I noticed it said “the broadcast booth” so I asked what that was and she said it’s a family owned restaurant that has delicious pizza & mac an cheese. She highly recommend me trying it out so my husband and I went there for dinner tonight. My husband had the chicken parm and I of course had to try the Mac a cheese. I also had the creamsicle drink. OMG! Not only is the place so cute and cozy feeling but the food was phenomenal!!! Definitely will be back!“

Gavin is very hard working and keeps the place real clean. Everyone were so hard working and I appreciate the cooks who did a great job on my meal. “This is a typical sports bar, with lots of TVs....great for watching a Tigers game! Teh beer selection was decent, and the staff good....efficient and friendly. The menu is "typical" bar fare; we had some pizza, which was OK for bar food pizza. Not a bad, un pretentious place to grab a drink and watch a game.“

“Anybody reading this, my mamaw was the barmaid there beginning in the 60s. Annie Ruth Ladd. They also lived above the bar for some time. My mother told me that she vividly remembers looking out the window and seeing the National guard going down Jefferson into Detroit. At that time, she was 9 years old. My mother grew up to work in the bar. Her name is Roseann or Rosie. I spent lots of my youth there, playing quarter machines. Rosie Also worked Square Deal. Y'all probably knew my papaw too his name was Jim Ray Boatwright and he was known in River Rouge as being one of the Town drunks lol God rest his soulCan't wait to stop in and reminisce!Also, if anybody knew my family or can share stories, please let me know. “This place is great. Order food ahead and pull through drive-through pick up or go in and grab. Food is same as dine in resturant but I swear costs less.
