“Great Beer! This place is a hidden gem”

“What an awesome bakery! Today we had absolutely delicious pasties, and the donuts were even more amazing! I believe the cream filled Bismarcks are the best ever!!! When in Florence, you really need to stop in!”

“Curious Pig catered our wedding back in August 2025 and it was AMAZING. They drove from Crystal Falls to Ontonagon without an extra charge which was amazing. We did two meats (smoked turkey and brisket) and two sides (smoked Mac and cheese and potato salad) and it was the most delicious food, offered at a great price. Everyone raved about the food! The ladies running the food line were even kind enough to cut and serve our cake after dinner. Our experience was amazing, easy communication with Pam, and I could not recommend them more for catering. We will be back anytime we come through Crystal Falls - it's a MUST STOP!”

“I stopped at Barb Cafe on way to Island resort. great service and friendly staff. No need to mention food, always good. Saw article inOur Wisconsin magizine about Barbs. Saw can on counter collecting for local resident, nice going.”

“We are new home owners to the Florence area. Spread Eagle to be exact.. We have been to The Filling Station three times now. We have never had a bad meal and omg the people there are so amazing and friendly. Prices are very reasonable and you leave full and satisfied. Will be our to go to place.”

“I’ve tried many coffee drinks and a few sandwiches and every time it’s exceeded my expectations. The owners are also very friendly. I love having a quality place in Florence!”

“Always greeted with a smile. Fresh, hot food that is delicious. My kids love the ice cream and the pretzels with beer cheese. The flat breads are amazing as well! We will be here at least twice a week this summer. ❤️”

“Friendly and fast service and delicious crispy thin crust pizza! We’ll definitely come back!”

“Cute place. Expensive. Can definitely improve on awareness of allergens or POST. Was told her egg allergy and confirmed ice cream egg free but served in a waffle cone that had egg. She said throw it away but said we would be charged one scoop in a dish despite having paid $64 for our group. 👎🏻”

“We tried their 16 pizza. it was absolutely delicious. We picked it up and brought it 🏡 me. Definitely a place to get great food.”

“Purchased 2 pasties with rutabaga from St john Walmart in Michigan. So Delicious. Wish I could find them at my local grocery store. Please encourage other retailers to carry your product.”

“Nice people. Made you feel welcomed! Great bartender Karen.”

“Great shop ! I've only had coffees but they were delicious. They do a great job of making lattes with oat milk! Better than anywhere else in the UP I must say.”

“Stop on a Fri for fish , I had perch, n my husband had poor man lobster , mmmmm good!!! Friendly staff, will go back!! Thanks for an awesome date night?”

“I was in town for a week in November. Stopped in three times. Had the chicken wrap and the hillside griller . Everything was delicious and the staff is always friendly. This is my go to place when I’m in Crystal Falls.”

“Tonight we had pizza at the Tavern on Central. It was the best ever. what made it exceptional was the way they cut it in very small, square pieces like Brutomessos Pizzeria in Iron Mountain years ago. Thank you.”

“Great food and super friendly staff!”

“Broasted chicken was amazing. The mashed potatoes and gravy was cold and no flavor. Definitely would get the chicken again but the mashed potatoes was the worst I've ever had”

“all the workers are wonderful people keep up the good job 👏”

“We were driving through crystal falls and decided to stop at subway. I just wanted to say that the two girls that are working right now on 6/23 at around 6:45pm are awesome and doing an awesome job under pressure. Just wanted you guys to know.”
