Asian Legend is an excellent option for Chinese and Taiwanese food in Ann Arbor. This unassuming family owned establishment prides itself on delicious food, fast service and quality. Service is fast and consistent; owners and staff are always kind and happy to see customers. The food comes impressively quickly and is very good. Complimentary hot tea is provided and tastes great. Service is direct, yes, but not impolite. The workers are kind and speedy. It is not super fancy, but excellent food. They serve both American style and authentic Taiwanese/Chinese. It all tastes delicious and is reasonably priced. There are lots of options for every guest's diet. The best way to eat is family style. Recommended dishes include Minced Pork Over Rice (Lu Rou Fan), Seaweed dried tofu, Taiwanese Rice Noodles w/ Minced Pork, Taiwanese Cabbages with Garlic, Onion pancake, Fried tofu with basil, and Pepper Salt Chicken. The owners are lovely people who care if customers are happy.
