“We had my daughter’s surprise birthday dinner at A plus yesterday. The staff did a wonderful job accommodating our needs including early seating for our several family members who traveled from across state. Our server was wonderful and did a great job taking orders for separate bills. Our food was quick, correct and absolutely delicious. This restaurant is a family favorite for us. It’s the best seafood in Michigan. We always look forward to our visits and will continue to come here for all of our celebrations. It has been our “Go to” restaurant for birthdays and anniversaries for many years, except the disappointment of our absence during the repairs caused by the fire. The food is excellent, the service superb. This time, however, we went to celebrate a very special event. We had no intention of disclosing the purpose, except to tell them it was a very special event. The hostess that seated us, got my wife to disclose the event. Before we knew it, the Manager, Eric, came to our table, expressing congratulations, etc. Several others, some we knew, and others we did not, also came to our table to express their congratulations. Eric then returned a second time, with more kind words. “Although had reservations and checked in early still had to wait to be seated. Hostess stated a few tables had been there 3+ hours. When extremely busy there should be a max time cap. Similar to when Covid was around. Many establishments had time limits. Also feel on a Saturday evening should be adults only. Some of the children noise was too loud. I wear hearing aids and still had a difficult time hearing my own table with the elevated noise. Otherwise everything else was great.“

“It's the go to spot (in the area) for fried foods! My go to order is the chicken strip combo meal. They serve up a nice generous portion of chicken strips with the optional lemon pepper seasoning added on at the end which is awesomely delicious. The combo meal comes with bread and a pop......I always get an order of friend corn to go with it as well----its the absolute chronic.The jalapeno poppers are on point too.Legend has it you can use a bridge card here......you buy they fry.?“

“Our server Jaylen was great and extremwly knowledgable. Jaylen ensured our needs were met. Thr manager, Alan, came by as we were eating and was also very attentive. The salted caramel cheese cake was the cherry on top of an already great experience.“

“We enjoy places that offer a Happy Hour which includes FOOD options. I do not drink alcohol, but I enjoy trying new places and offering a happy hour menu with food allies me to do that. Clam chowder was good, wings were ok, we did ask for extra crispy but we didn't get that ( I think many kitchens are on auto pilot and don't always look at the guest's request, this happens a lot with french fries being undercooked), dynamite shrimp was good but I could have used more seasoning. Brit was our server and was fantastic. I also appreciated that the other staff members were helping each other by clearing plates, bowls, etc. . Great causal place.“

“We had a large group of ladies come in for dinner. It took us about an hour to get seated on a Saturday since they dont take reservations. We had a few bumps in the night but Brandon took great care of us. I believe he was the manager. Our appetizers were great (calamari and crab cake). The bread (or donut as we called it) was delicious!! Our entrees however were less than desirable. Pictured is my crab cake entree with a side of smoked Gouda Mac & Cheese. The mac was terrible (unseasoned and the noodles were hard) 😢 I left the full side almost completely untouched on my plate. My friend's broccoli had a hair in it, which they promptly remade. Someone else's steak tasted like cinnamon as she described it and was tough for the cut of steak. The drinks were 10/10 (shout-out to the bartender). I had a lemon drop mojito *chef's kiss* And the creme brulee was delicious as well. Overall, I would return but simply for drinks and apps!“

Oyster stew was good to the last swab of my bowl with Muirs’ homemade bread. Never made it to an entree. Service was above and beyond as always. Last night restored our faith in dining out. Absolutely none of the food or service issues that we seem to incur almost everywhere lately. We will return soon. A special thank you to Calli and the other raw bar shuckers.“

“Words cannot express how calming it is to go to Take Sushi. We have been customers for 21 years. The owner carried our daughter around when she was a baby so we could eat. Today as I prepare to send the baby off to college soon they were there for a special lunch. Let us in early and we had the most exquisite selection of chō moriawase. This is the best sushi around. Our friends who were from Japan said it was their favorite in metro Detroit. It’s our favorite because we love the family atmosphere that resounds in this crazy world!“

The skinny fries were a disappointment to both of us - rather dry & lukewarm. I stuck with a rating of 5 inspire of the fries, because the burger was so good, as was the warm carrot cake. Also, our server, Steven (sp?), was delightful. It was rather loud, due, I think, to all the people, but we appreciated that they didn't blast music. We were so disappointed that the towering ice cream cake is only available in the summer. Can hardly wait until June! (Except for the heat.) We'll be back.“

“We had dinner at Tribu last weekend with another couple and it was one of the best dining experiences. Everything from the ambience, staff, customer service and all of their FOOD were exceptional!! The menu was a soft launch menu as it was their grand opening, but there were so many options that we ended up ordering multiple appetizers, entrees and all of the desserts! Everything was absolutely delicious. The duck wings, tagliatelle, and filet were so flavorful. Great food, great company and great atmosphere. Will definitely be back for more!“
