“Had dinner with some friends there tonight. Food and drinks were very good. Staff was great, from the person I booked the reservation with on the phone, to the young man who seated us. Our waitress was very attentive. The young man that brought our apps and food was fantastic, very friendly, and he even brought out extra dipping sauce without asking when he saw we were sharing the apps.“

“I just want to give a shout out to server Amber, who took on a group of about 35 retired and current educators. It was a reunion, so clusters of people were standing and chatting here and there around the tables.. Though we are very nice people, this reconnecting with coworkers made it a chaotic situation for our server to get orders and pass out the orders once they were ready. She handled us with grace and patience. Great job, Amber!1“

“I have come here quiet a few times over the years and haven't had a problem. I am a stickler for customer service though. I don't know who trains the ones that work at the take out counter, but there needs to be more!!!! Picked up an order and there was NO thank you, have a good night, or no smile!!! I didnt even know if the receipt was mine, she sort of just tossed it onto the box. Good old customer service is your first in with the community!!!“

“I randomly decided to stop here on my way back to Marshall from Kalamazoo the other day with my son. I always see it but never thought to stop. I’m so glad I did because the daily specials were cheap, the food was great, and the service was kind. Great cup of coffee as well.“

“Tom makes the BEST dirty martini! Burgers are BOMB… The vibe at ‘the pub’ is immaculate….So very thankful for a place right around the corner from my house to hang, have great service and delicious bar food and drinks. Never change!!!“

“The food was alright. Best thing about my meal was their chips & dip. Mozzarella sticks were meh. Burger was a normal burger, nothing special about it.
My husband said the green beans were the best hes ever had!

“WE HAVE DRIVEN PAST THIS PLACE THOUSANDS AND NEVER STOPPED. LAST NIGHT I WANTED AN ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT FISH-FRY. I FOUND FRIENDS & COMPANY IN A SEARCH ONLINE & CALLED TO BE SURE THE ONLINE INFORMATION WAS CORRECT. IT WAS, SO WE STOPPED IN. I HAD ALL OF THE FISH & SHRIMP AUCE. MARGIE HAD AN AWESOME HAMBURGER. THE FLAVOR, PORTIONS & SERVICE WERE WAY BEYOND OUR EXPECTATIONS. FRIENDS & COMPANY IS NOW OFFICIALLY MY FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT IN BATTLE CREEK ! ! !“

“Today was my first time trying this restaurant. I had the taco salad, a double cheeseburger and the fried ores. All were wonderful. I’m from Kalamazoo but I attend school at Kellogg, so I’m in town 3 days a week. I’m definitely going to return and try more items from the menu.“

“My wife and I came in for the special dinner. The bartender, Darla, even though she was very busy was still very attentive. We ordered the shrimp cocktail and the smoked prime rib dinner. All of which was amazing. It was cooked exactly how we ordered it. The portion sizes were just enough. This was our first time here after just moving into the area and will for sure be back. Very clean, great food and very friendly staff.“
