“What some reviews don't seem to understand is that this restaurant is basically a one or two person operation: a chef and sometimes a waitress. This means that when things are busy everyone has their hands full and patience is mandatory. What you get in exchange is food prepared by one of the best chefs in town, not some line cook. While the sushi is very good, the rest of the menu is excellent. My wife and I have tried to eat there at least once a week for years, usually something other than sushi and usually at lunch when it isn't so busy. (Try the salmon) This is, I think, perhaps the best restaurant in a town gifted with a significant number of very good non-chain places to eat.“
