“Doesn't look like much when you drive by but this little hole-in-the-wall, dive bar serves up cold, frosty beers, average cocktails and unforgettable burgers. The main-stay is the Barney's burger. A tasty beef patty grilled to juicy perfection on a warm, soft bun (which really makes any sandwich-am i right?) topped with pepper Jack cheese and dressed with ketchup, mustard, onions and sliced pickles. You can also go deluxe with the burger dragged through the garden coming up for air with lettuce and tomato and a slather of mayo to highlight your bun! The onion rings are hand cut and battered and a served at 1000°F so be careful! Most patrons are locals but anyone can walk through the door and feel welcome.“

“This is a frequent stop for us when visiting the farmers market on weekends. The service has always been very friendly and hard-working. The food is delicious with lots to choose from. The entry now is side door only which makes sense as it is in the parking lot. This is a very quaint little diner with great service and food that if you haven't tried, you may want to consider. We love it! Also, they do accept Apple Pay.“

“A brightly decorated interior greets you as you enter. Then you're greeted by the very friendly staff and seated @ your table. I chose the rolled beef tacos combo and was not disappointed. The tacos were fried to perfection and enrobed in sour cream and guacamole sauce then covered in shredded cheese. Another plate was filled with rice and refried beans and once again covered in melted cheese. A generous portion of chips and salsa was also served. Finally, I had a delicious margarita that was excellent.“

“Myles was awesome from the beginning. First time here the ribs were the best I've had at a restaurant in a long time. The cornbread also amazing. Everything was so good. “We came here for dinner and sat in the bar. The server we had was excellent and the burgers were perfectly cooked. Love the cold slaw too. However there was a shrieking kid behind us and I wasn't aware that children were allowed in the bar. The evening would have been more pleasant without him. We are here for a long weekend and the hotel recommended that we come here.“

“My family is here at least twice a week. You will not find a better service staff in the area. Food is delicious and they offer chefs specials on weekends and keeps the menu rotating. As a family dealing with gluten allergies, this is a great place to keep on your list if you have special food requirements. They are very careful with customer food needs. “I had my bachelorette party at Hamburger Mary's last night and it did not disappoint. The food tasted great and the drinks tasted wonderful. We had an amazing time and all of the performers were amazing. I don't think I could say enough good things or give them enough praise on how fantastic everything was. “This is a very unique restaurant. The menu is very robust I don't know what to say other than the shrimp, oh my God the shrimp. The shrimp here were better than any seafood place that I can think of. I will come back here just to get the shrimp. Now that I am off of my shrimp boat I will say the nachos were quite tasty the Reuben was also very good. The carrot cake was alright. The restaurant itself is pretty nice however everybody is packed in there pretty good. Will be returning some day.“

“We decided to try this place because helllooo...fried fish lol. Most places make you buy a big meal but I love that they have smaller meals in case you want something small on the go! The fish was perfect. The fries are good but would be better if the fish wasn't sitting on top because they get soggy. But I ate them anyway and enjoyed everything!“

“Always enjoy the burgers, but Dad and I went for lunch and had the three-piece walleye dinner. Although a little expensive for lunch prices, the food was delicious and there was plenty of it. We spent about $50 for the two of us all said and done. Dad took one of the fillets home and I only finished two and a half of the three pieces. He came out very crispy, not too greasy. Fries and coleslaw were both good.“

“Food was delicious as always. I was there with my husband celebrating our anniversary, gave him our drink order which took longer than usual but we excused this. Then proceeded to give him our appetizer order and meal order, low and behold, came out at the same time!!! I then asked the girl that brought out our food for some marinara sauce, I waited 6-7 minutes for it and finally had to ask the hostess for some. We tried to get our waiters attention for another ten minutes for another cocktail and gave up. ?So I got up and asked the hostess for our bill and left. ?“

Atmosphere is superb, staff beyond friendly, food is delicious, drinks aplenty and prices very reasonable. We had our own party room set aside after initially gathering around the bar. I've driven by it many times and never thought to go inside then one day I decided and I was impressed, by the food not the actual inside of the place. The sandwiches are huge and each of them comes with fries. The chili sauce is meh but I'm from Detroit so I could definitely be bias. They never answer the phone but the service is quick even if you want in and place your order.“

“My family and I have been coming to this Dairy Queen for over 20 years. And the blizzards are our usual go-to. We get the reese peanut butter cup blizzard most of the time. I planned on getting a cherry freeze for myself and 2 blizzards for my hubby and son but their slush machine was broken which is why I gave them the 4 stars and the employee that took my order wasn't very friendly. Normally the employees are a little more friendly or at least smile etc she just seemed annoyed and that just kills your experience especially when you're going for ice cream. Asian Chicken salad was very good with plentiful toppings and enough dressing provided and south western burger and fries were great. One of few restaurants we have been to that was clean, great service and exceptional food. Also a guy I am guessing was the manager or owner came to check on if we were satisfied with our food.“

“First time visit to Charlie's for my girlfriend and myself, wow. For a little hole-in-the-wall we both left with full stomachs very glad to have stopped. My girlfriend wanted ice cream, I was more interested in the burgers. She order a burger with her liking of topping and tots and I got myself a double burger with cheese because the photos online made the single burger seem small. After we ordered we quickly received our food and I was blown away by the size of the patties! Thick patties, cheese melted wonderfully. I also ordered the all beef hotdog with just ketchup, keeping it simple. Talk about simply fantastic. The hotdog was without question top 3 I've ever eaten. I forget the exact flavor she order for the ice cream but she said it had little chocolate chunks she could not stop eating. TL:DR - Would recommend even as a non-local, will be coming back here again!“

“While at the Franklin Mall, I decided to try this placeout. Ordered the Titan Burger and boy! it certainly lived up to its name! 8 patties and slices of cheese all in one bun. The food was HOT when I got it. So hot that I burned the inside of my mouth. I figure that with all those cooked patties stacked together, it just amplifies the heat. It was also a little too salty for my liking, again probably from all those patties being put together. I must say, it certainly filled me up. I didn't have room for the fries I ordered. They needed more people working at the place as I noted that there were only 2 persons working in the back preparing the food along with the counter person taking the orders. Being in a busy mall in the middle of a Saturday afternoon, it did take a while for everyones orders to be made. Can't imagine what it would be like during a lunch hour rush. While the Titan Burger lived up to its name, next time I'll order something smaller.“

I had to try. That being said…I ordered a few dogs with a root beer and fries. WOW! This is Oregon/Northwood’s best kept secret! These chili dogs will not disappoint! I promise. Mustard,onions and sauce is my recommendation. They also make a great ice cream/slush freeze mix that I also highly recommend.“
