“Whatever they’re paying Chris isn’t enough. He’s a national treasure for any business. Honestly wish I would have offered him a job. But even aside from Chris, Vino Volo is the spot for above average wine, especially in an airport. Definitely considering flying through DTW again just to hang out and drink good wine. Certainly stop in no matter how much time you have.“
“DTW - Detroit Airport - Great place to hang out before boarding. Wine, food, snacks and all other kinds of beverages. An oasis of sorts in one of the lesser traveled concourses at DTW, (Concourse C). Prices are not out of line for wine and food. Also worth noting is that the bartender is far from "awful" (as previously reported). The one that was working when we were there was exceptionally pleasant and working the entire front end all by herself.“

“I've been going to Stack’s for 11 years, and the consistency in both service and food quality is unmatched. This is easily the most complete liquor/deli combo I’ve ever seen. The owner is a true people person and foodie — and it shows in the menu. From the pizzas to the broasted wings with potato wedges, and the oven-baked subs — everything hits the mark every time. I’ve had just about everything on the menu, more than once, and it never disappoints. The liquor selection is also top-notch, and if they don’t have what you need, the owner is happy to order it for you. What really makes Stack’s stand out is the community vibe. Most of the employees are locals — always respectful, helpful, and welcoming, which adds to the overall experience. After 11 years, this place still earns a solid 10/10 from me.“
