“Five stars! We ended a week of camping with a vehicle delay on our way home and stopped for lunch at Big Bob’s while my husband took the truck to get fixed. First of all, the food was amazing (our son said the deep dish was better than Giordano’s). But more importantly, Rob and his staff took were beyond hospitable to our 3 kids and I as we spent the next 5 hours utilizing their Uno cards, Connect Four and enjoying their complementary popcorn. If you’re ever in the Grand Rapids area we highly recommend giving them a try. We’ll definitely be back next time we come through Grand Rapids.“

“Myrth was a great experience! My partner and I went right at open on a Sunday. We were basically the only ones in there, which is surprised for how cozy it is. We had a Holland Harbor mocktail to start and it reminded me of an adult Hi-C! Very good! We ordered a Margarita Pizza to split at an Appetizer. The pizza was very delicious and the crust was soft and flaky. Sometimes wood fired pizzas can have a tougher crust, but this one was great except for a little softness in the middle where the oils and things pooled. It just made the first bite a little difficult, but the rest of the slice was killer! Next, we ordered two pasta dishes. My partner ordered the Radiatore. I have to preface that most of the time when we eat Italian and I ask my partner how the noodles are, they respond with "Okay" but Myrth managed to get a "Very Good" out of them! The sauce was super good. I ordered the Penne with Fennel Sausage and I took was impressed. The red sauce was light and very tomato forward. The sausage chunks were delicious. For dessert we had a Cappuccino and a scoop of Chocolate Sorbet. The chocolate sorbet was super chocolatey and dairy free which was awesome. It definitely curbed any sweet tooth that we had after dinner. The cappuccino was very good as well. I had never been asked if I wanted sugar in my Cappuccino before, and I panicked and said no. What came out was a very delicious, but not sweet drink. In the future I would order it with sugar to get that traditional Cappuccino feel. It was awesome I had the choice though! Our meal and tip was about $110 overall. Very affordable in comparison to eating at Olive Garden where I would spend the same amount of money and get very lack luster Italian food. The price and quality of the entire Farm to Table local Michigan Products made Myrth an enjoyable experience. We will definitely be coming back.“

“Ordered a deluxe pizza to go, 30 minute drive home, then mowed the grass for 90 minutes then finally had a slice of pizza at room temperature.. I feel it is the the best pizza I’ve ever had! I can’t imagine how incredible it would’ve been directly out of the wood-fired pizza oven. It has been at least 8 years since I’ve been to Marinades, I think I’ll be there again in the next 8 days!!!!!!! The service was OUTSTANDING!!!! I repeat THE BEST PIZZA I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!! “The pizza is always great here. I love a crispy brick oven pizza. So, this time I decided to try something different. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs for dining in, and the grilled chicken sliders and a regular kids’ cheese pizza to go. The spaghetti was perhaps just a difference of preference for taste. To me the sauce was too sweet and thin/watery. There also was no shaved Parmesan or basil, which the menu says are part of the dish. So, pasta portion was just really lacking in any flavor. However, the meatballs have amazing flavor! I’d eat them every day. The grilled chicken sliders were extremely disappointing. They each had maybe a bite and a half of chicken in a small strip. As you can see from the picture, one really had less than a bite. The sauce that was supposed to be on the sandwiches was missing. Just disappointing overall. The service was great, the restaurant is clean and comfortable, drinks were nice, and the pizza did not disappoint as per usual. I’ll stick to the pizza, cheese bread and bruschetta moving forward…they’re always great!“

“My wife and enjoyed our 55th anniversary with dinner at Amore'. Chef Jenna visited every table in our area and asked about every course we ordered. This is by far the best restaurant in the Grand Rapids area: we ordered the 5 course Chef's menu and each had something different from appetizers through desserts so we could taste all. From the waiter, the live music, our beverages, and Jenna's attention paid to all, the best meal ever.“

Tonight we got light sauce on half the pizza and they were kind enough to write on the box which side was which! My favorite local pizza.“

“I tried their pizza challenge. It was fun. The gluten-free pizza was good, too.

- Pizza 28” Challenge - $35: Super thin, but soft and fairly good.

The crust was dry, tough, chewy and was fairly plain. The pizza was easy, but the crust was very hard. I saved the crust for last (a tactic I learned from another competitor), but in this case, I think you need to eat the crust along the way so you don’t get tired of chewing it all at the end. Break it up.

I failed by one slice and almost all the crust I saved for the end. It sounds like the challenge is undefeated currently. Someone has to beat it. It is well within the possibility compared to other challenges out there. Though it is 28” and that sounds huge (it is huge), it is actually thin enough that it is still very much possible for those who train for it.

I’d have to guess it is 4 pounds. I weighed it at 3.5 pounds, but we couldn’t get it to balance well enough to take our hands off of it to get an accurate measurement. 28” is huge!!!

- Pizza 9” - $: Fits on a plate. My daughter ate it and reported it was good. The crust was plain.

- Cauliflower Pizza 12” - $: Except for the amount of cheese, it would have been my daughter’s new favorite gluten-free pizza.

- Service: Super helpful and cheerful. She was new, but it didn’t show at all. She was very proficient and amazing!

- Atmosphere: Clean. A bit on the darker side, but not bad. There is a higher ceiling and voices probably carry very easily. We didn’t experience that too much since we stopped by during a slow time.

- Conclusion: I’d certainly recommend this place for many reasons including the cheerful staff.

About 14 minutes ago, I got a call from a GR number and ignored it .... because ROBO CALLS all the time..... If somebody wants a normal New York style pizza, or don’t understand what a Neapolitan style is, I can understand how they would give it a bad review, And that’s a lot of people. But if you know what it is, this is the best in the area of this style. Grand Rapids is probably the largest city in the country that doesn’t have a Neapolitan style pizza restaurant.
