“Went here for the first time with my daughter, who is a coffee aficionado. We both loved the decor of the place. It’s quite beautiful and the menu offers so much variety that I wasn’t familiar with, I know I’ll be back. Our coffees were unique, and the pastries were tasty. I’ve seen others complain about the price but we paid about $20 for two coffees two pastries and that includes a tip. I don’t think that’s unreasonable in today’s world and it’s so much better than chain coffee shops.“

“Dairy Fairies Cafe is a hidden gem in Hamtramck. It’s a beautiful place! The cafe was beautifully decorated, and I was amazed by everything. I visited a while ago, so my pictures are a bit old. But even with pictures, it doesn't do it justice.

The staff were really lovely and friendly. I ordered a mango smoothie, an egg and cheese croissant, a boba iced coffee, Nutella mini pancakes, and a lotus shake with an everything bagel. Everything was delicious and came with cute stickers.

Overall, it’s a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy great food. I’ll definitely be back!“

I'm glad I did! the baristas recommended a brown sugar latte with pistachio milk and that's what I got, iced. It was phenomenal. Great price point for the quality of the product. “Ordered 2 plain fritters and one fritter with nuts. 2 long John donuts and 3 regular donuts. She said $20.10. I paid it. Upon looking at my receipt( when home,) She charged me for 4 regular fritters, 1 fritter with topping and then the three donuts. So I was charged for two extra fritters. Not fair. She was preoccupied because someone was there to pick up a check and she told him he would have to wait because there were no checks and she would call her boss. So the entire time she waited on me she was thinking, you could see that look. I got one apple, one maple, and one with nuts. Them Then the donuts. We ate them so I can’t show you. “I’d only been to the UP location last year (and just about died when I found out they were in MI again), so when I saw this location on the way to a job interview a few months later I knew that was it. The Caribou may have influenced me into not only taking, but staying in the job more than the job did if we’re being honest. I get an espresso shaker and a random food item at least once a week and it’s the best part of my commute. Every barista is always so chipper and pleasant when I pull up, it’s enough to make me forget the harsh reality that this is no longer 2004. Give these people a medal because there’s no need for all that at 7 something in the morning, but they do it anyway with a smile and they do it well. I’ve been coming here for a few months and the worst thing I’ve ever experienced was a slightly crunchier croissant roll. I literally cannot recall a drink error ever. In fact, one time I ordered a soufflé and they gave me a raspberry scone but the scone was so good I didn’t actually notice I didn’t order it until I was almost done. I don’t know if that’s says more about me or the scone, but I wasn’t even disgruntled, I was just pleasantly surprised. I may be messy, but this Caribou never is. This coffee will heal me.“

“DOC Royal Oak for me is the best option in the Royal Oak area for espresso-based drinks. The loungey seating is better than most places but the ambient music that is always running is a great reason to sit and enjoy a coffee. Excellent selection of tunes with a wide variety ranging from old school funk to modern chill. The roasted coffee selection for purchase rates very well. And the baristas are well-trained in pulling top-tier shots to go along with perfectly frothed milk for your cappuccino or macchiato (my go-to’s)“

“We love iFreeze! We took our daughter who has Celiac Disease. They have items marked as gluten free on the menu. She had the S’mores ice cream and loved it. They were very knowledgeable about Celiac and cleaned the machines before use. They keep all GF items separated as well. “Came here with a friend for their holiday flight. I’d never heard of it, but what a hidden gem! The flavors of each coffee were really well done and balanced (not overly sweet!) and I even enjoyed the peppermint mocha which I’m not always the biggest mint fan.

It was late morning on a March Tuesday. We were a party of six, everyone ordering a different coffee drink. All six were happy with their drinks, including one of our party who works at a (nearly-nationwide) drive thru coffee place.
The atmosphere was chill. There were four or five individuals sitting/working and enjoying their coffees. The shop is larger inside than it initially appears; there's another room beyond the main/entry room with an upright piano and books lining the wall. If anything could be offered as an improvement, it *might* be the addition of a few more cafe tables/chairs in the 'library' room but only because it's such a cool room.
The building has character and history. Photos on the wall and some of the fixtures tell the story.
We'll make it a point to stop in next time we're in (or near!) Hamtramck.“

Stopped by A-OK Coffee at Somerset in Troy, and wow—what a cozy little gem! ☕✨ Nestled on the second floor near Aritzia, this cafe has such a chill and welcoming vibe. The dachshund logo is adorable 🐶, and the space is bright and airy, perfect for a quick caffeine break.

I ordered an Eggnog Latte and an Iced Chai Latte, and both were absolutely delicious! 🎄☕ The Eggnog Latte had that perfect holiday spice—creamy, rich, and just the right amount of sweetness. The Iced Chai was super refreshing, with a great balance of spice and smoothness. Plus, they offer oat milk at no extra charge, which is a win! 🥛💖

The staff was incredibly friendly, and I loved how the cafe encourages a “laptop-free” experience—great for actually relaxing and enjoying your drink without screens. 💆‍♀️📵
