This restaurant is a gem in Berkeley. We love the drinks and appetizers and the menu rotates for the season. We've never had a bad meal, the atmosphere is beautiful and it feels very elevated for a birthday or celebration without having to drive to the city.
Perfect place for dinner with friends, one of Berkley’s best!
Absolutley fantastic! Michelle and I had an incredible dinner on their patio. The Roasted Pork was prepared perfectly, so tender and flavorful we savored every bite! The charred fresh green bean salad was amazing and the Parsnips were the best we have ever had. An incredibly thoughtful place!!!

The Beverly is a gem in Berkeley with a beautiful atmosphere that feels elevated for a birthday or celebration without having to drive to the city. The place has a chic and comfortable vibe with a nice looking space, a friendly greeting, and an ample bar area with a long bar with stools, very tastefully appointed and lit up. It is not trendy and not divey. The dining area is not overly loud or compact. The service is spectacular and very attentive at each step of the process, with knowledgeable staff who explain the menu and give recommendations. The drinks are very well made, and the menu rotates for the season. The bread board is good, with nutty butter that is good with the soft texture of the bread, and the butter is more like caramelized shallot compound butter. The roasted pork is prepared perfectly, so tender and flavorful. The swordfish schnitzel is delicious. The charred fresh green bean salad is amazing and the parsnips are the best ever had. The burger exceeds its awesome reputation, with tender, tasty patties, an awesome bun and toppings. The fried chicken is tender with a delicious crispy coating and tasty honey sauce. The mac and cheese is one of the better ones ever had. Desserts are excellent, and the summer crisp and the strawberry shortcake are a great way to end the evening. The price is above average, but it is a thoughtful place with attention to detail in every aspect of dining.
