“the last 2 times I had a bad experience but this last took the cake. We pull up to get 3 small banana shakes. There's 3 people in line with my husband and no one is there so people start leaving.. so finally they pop put from the back and the girls says they aren't getting "blah blah blah cause I'm not cleaning blah blah blah" and my husband says nevermind and the guy working was like no it's fine I'll make it. I don't get why you are working at and ice cream stand at 630 at night if you don't wanna do your job? she was rude and unprofessional. unsure if it's the new ownership or the people they hire.“

“We love Scoopy’s. We’ve been going there for years. Love the hand scooped ice cream & the sundae’s. Last evening though, we had a bad experience with the shakes and malt that were ordered. The chocolate tasted like chocolate milk and my son said his vanilla was like vanilla milk. They were not very thick at all. We had 2 separate orders that my husband was trying to make into one and just pay’ so maybe the girl making them was a little annoyed, (as I saw based on her facial expression….) We will still go back but definitely make sure to correct the shakes if those get ordered again“

“This is a stellar dq in relatively to the small size. The spot its at is sometimes difficult to find parking especially when it bleeds into the street. Now for the service it is fantastic for how small it is. Pretty quick even tho there's a line into the road. Obviously it's dq you know what you're getting. Some dam good soft serve.

Parking: You may have to park on the side if it gets too busy. With the drive thru line some parking spots you can't get out of.“

“I'm a late 80s/90s collector who got back into buying basketball again the last few years. I'm not from Monroe but saw the store and stopped in on a whim and had just enough loose cash on me to pick up an Optic Mega Box. Asked the guys if they mind if I ripped it there and hung out for a few and just chatted with the guys there.

It brought me back to the early 90's when I was a kid and would loiter at the card shop all day. It was great just chatting with them and doing the old card shop thing. I'll definitely make the drive up to Monroe again soon and next time I'll rip a few boxes!

I took my 3 small children there for some much needed refreshments after a trip to the park, and happen to forget my phone on the bench outside and somebody thankfully turned it in. The owner went out of his way to get my address and personally return it to me in my mailbox and I am very thankful as there are years of memories in it. What a great guy! “Generally 'error free',, but yesterday, the young man was flirting with the girl so much that they forgot to put whipped cream and nuts in NY husband's hot fudge sundae.It was corrected and I got to 'save' some of the whipped cream that was sliding off as we drove down to watch the ducks.My chocolate cone was awesome, as always.“

“Love the nostalgia of this ice cream parlor, the ice cream was incredible and you can tell they make it themselves in house! I had a scoop of the birthday cake and scooby doo and the were out of this world! The only reason I did not give a 5 star rating was due to slow service. The kids in there did what they could but I believe they were short staffed. Other than that. This is some of the best ice cream I've had in the area!

Parking: They do have a small parking lot so on a busy day you might have to park in the street.
