We visited the restaurant on Friday upon arrival to Michigan and was the first customers on Sunday 11:30AM as we were leaving from Michigan to return home. Go here, you will not be disappointed. “I order fairly regularly the tacos and chips and dips. All have been quite flavorful and delicious. I've been less impressed by the bowls and burritos as in general all can be overpowered by sauces. Great rewards program gives discounts and points often. The interior is fun but this store is a bit dark on the interior making it hard to read menus. Service is friendly and standard for service these days. Easy online ordering and pickup. Overall great if your looking for more American-styled Mexican food with punchy flavors.“

“On Friday, February 6, we went to Capitol Grille. It has been our “Go to” restaurant for birthdays and anniversaries for many years, except the disappointment of our absence during the repairs caused by the fire. The food is excellent, the service superb. This time, however, we went to celebrate a very special event. We had no intention of disclosing the purpose, except to tell them it was a very special event. The hostess that seated us, got my wife to disclose the event. Before we knew it, the Manager, Eric, came to our table, expressing congratulations, etc. Several others, some we knew, and others we did not, also came to our table to express their congratulations. Eric then returned a second time, with more kind words. What we learned during this visit, Capitol Grille is not only about great food, and great service, it is about the people, very special people who made this visit extraordinary. Mike R.“

“I stopped by for a late breakfast and had "The Forager", what they call a "rumble" of eggs, mushrooms, smoked gouda, onions and greens. A great combination of flavors. It came with seasoned fried potatoes and sourdough toast. I like a place that offers sourdough. And the coffee. As someone who takes their coffee black, I am often disappointed by diner coffee and resort to cream and sugar just to make it palatable. Not so here. Whatever blend they are using is of superior quality.\nI've only been here the one time, but their menu looked pretty diverse for breakfast and lunch. Would recommend.“

“Took 2 friends to dinner to celebrate their birthdays. Server was very professional and let us enjoy our cocktails before we ordered appetizers, salad and main courses. One friend ordered sea bass, the other ordered lamb chops and I ordered a filet. My friends main courses were fine. Unfortunately my filet was ordered rare and came out raw. My server agreed and took the filet back to the kitchen. Second filet came out, and again the steak was raw. Third time the filet came out medium rare to medium. Server took back the filet and asked if I'd like to try again or something else. I said no and he said he would send the manager over. Manager asked what the problem was. He should have already spoken to the server to know and then just apologize for the problem. I told him I wasn't interested in another meal and just do what he thought was right. My filet was taken off the bill, but should have at least taken the second round of drinks of the bill.“

“I can't recommend the Sunrise Cafe enough. Stopped in on a whim for breakfast while on a family adventure and everyone left happy and full. The menu is extensive and everything was freshly made and very yummy. But what really put it over the top was the service! This was all about the house made marinara sauce, WOW, packed a punch and so tasty with a hint of garlic. The cheese was not oily and the bread made the bite light. Two pies ❁ ❁ exceptional flavors, charming brewery clubhouse, I would make a special effort to come again. They also brew their own beer, well over 20 beers on draft. “I've been here twice because the food is GREAT!!!! I had the udon the first time and came back for sushi the second time. Their menu is soooooo extensive, they have 4 pages of just special rolls!!! make sure you read the menu before you go if you're a picky eater like me 😂 some of the rolls are interesting. princes are reasonable, service was quick. the only downside was they kept coming to the table every 5 mins to ask if we're ready and then they never approached our table again unless summoned because I told them to give me 10 more minutes. they didn't even ask if we need anything.“

The owner and staff are super friendly, my food is always ready quick, and the menu/weekly specials always have something interesting. “I was invited here with a few friends to try the lunch buffet. They charge $13.99 for salad, pizza, and a drink. The pizza is a New Haven thin crust with a really flavorful sauce. They offer a variety of pizzas to try that keep coming out from 11am to 2pm. You can ask for a certain topping if you don’t see one you like and they’ll make it! The salad bar area is kept fresh and clean. They had many topping options to put over romaine lettuce. Everything is washed and cut just before serving. You can see it and taste it. I’ve been back a couple times since then and enjoyed it each visit. It’s one of the best pizzas I’ve had and pairs nicely with the salad bar. It’s definitely worth trying for the great price, service, and food.“

We started with the dumplings, which were fried perfectly. Then we split three rolls: the California roll was your standard classic, the fried chicken roll came in large, saucy bites, and the Salmon on the Rocks was a bit tricky to eat—the salmon didn’t stay on well.
