“We stopped at the diner on our visit to Frankenmuth. We couldn't pass up the opportunity of dining at a legit classic diner!

Everything we ordered tasted great. The dishes are paired very well in ingredients. The young lady who waited on us did a great job. The diner had a good amount of people in it the whole time we were there. Definitely seems to be a local favorite.

If you're a local or a tourist, I definitely recommend the comet diner. Next time we go back, we gotta try for lunch or dinner!“

Our expectations weren't just met, they were exceeded in taste, price, proportions, and friendliness of the staff. We will be coming back for one more breakfast before we head home! “So we calorie splurged on a Big Ole Applebee's burger and switched up to waffle fries (for a nominal fee), and got 5 and a half waffle fries on the plate... not at all what we expected for an upcharge side. Our server agreed that was 'kinda skimpy' and said she would 'go yell at him for us'... We never saw a manager to flag down, which is unusual at Applebees, and will probably go to a different Applebees next time. We do like menu and the food, but there's an Applebees at every exit!“
