I stopped by today and got the mezza plate, pumpkin cheesecake, and sumac salmon (with rice and beets). They were all incredibly delicious. I’m going to be coming in more frequently after Pilates class. :)“

“Hazel’s is one of those no-brainer places you hit with friends or family when you’re looking for something casual. Some dishes are better than others but overall the seafood is fresh and tasty. The servers have all been very tentative and nice over the years which makes for a positive experience. This is definitely a place I will continue to patron and recommend.“

“Very fancy and expensive restaurant. One of the few restaurants in metro Detroit (and likely the whole of Michigan) that serves Baked Alaska. They do not flame it in front of you nor does it come with sparklers like some restaurants may do. Still it was delicious. Jamie was a great waitress, friendly and in a good mood. There is no parking lot for Forrest, however after 5:30 pm and on weekends you can use the AAA Birmingham parking lot which is right next door. Very nice interior. The water glasses are small. There is a candle at the table.“

“On Set. 19, I brought my 96-yr-old mom here for a drink and hors d'oeuvres. I had sent a note on the online reservation form that we would appreciate a quiet table. The receptionist had knowledge of the request without my saying anything, and immediately showed me three locations she thought would suit. I wish I had gotten her name, for management to commend her. (We arrived at 5:15, which should help you know to whom I refer.) We sat in a booth, and our server, Usama, made our nearly 3-hr (!) visit truly joyful and perfect! Again, management - please take note. We agreed that he was the best waiter either of us have ever had - attentive, fun and funny, and going the extra mile in tailoring our drinks to our (sweet-tooth!) tastes, and making us feel welcome and special. This was likely my mom's final "fancy" outing, and I am so grateful to Usama for making it perfect. Kudos also to the chefs. Our 3 dishes were superb - beef tips, shrimp, hummus.“

“Iconic Avocado Toast, puts the rest to SHAME!! We are right across the street from this gem and no only is the food always supurb, the staff is always on point and they run our food to us at no charge if we need them to. The truffle fries and a cheeseburger are my fave guilty pleasures.“

“FIVE STAR RATING: We cannot praise Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse enough! We were seated at a cozy table and were greeted with the utmost, warm and friendly service. Our server, Sean, was amazing! He pointed out the menu’s recommendations, didn’t rush us, and personalized the order of when we’d like our choices brought out to the table. Every dish we ordered from appetizers to the complimentary Birthday dessert, was tremendous! We reserved a standard table in one of their dining rooms. However, even the bar area with high top tables would not disappoint. Don’t hesitate to make this a place to experience. They offer a great menu of salads, seafood, steaks, and be sure to ask about specials. They offer a vast wine menu and specialty drinks. We WILL be back!
