It’s such an amazing spot for a private, intimate event—we had around 50 guests, and the space was perfect. The entire process was seamless, the food was unbelievable, and the staff truly went above and beyond to make the day special. “On Friday, February 6, we went to Capitol Grille. It has been our “Go to” restaurant for birthdays and anniversaries for many years, except the disappointment of our absence during the repairs caused by the fire. The food is excellent, the service superb. This time, however, we went to celebrate a very special event. We had no intention of disclosing the purpose, except to tell them it was a very special event. The hostess that seated us, got my wife to disclose the event. Before we knew it, the Manager, Eric, came to our table, expressing congratulations, etc. Several others, some we knew, and others we did not, also came to our table to express their congratulations. Eric then returned a second time, with more kind words. “Simply Good is a life saver. There are so many meal options, plus great add-ons, their house-made hummus is hands down the best I’ve ever had, not to mention the take and bake chocolate chip cookie. The beef stroganoff with noodles never misses, and the chicken piccata is truly to die for. Everything is delicious, nutritious, and so practical. It’s also my go-to gift for friends who just had babies or need a little extra love.“

We ordered appetizers, lunch, and take out for dinner. We got the Reuben Spring Rolls, Pretzel Sticks, Monte Cristo and the Bourbon Burger with Sweet Potato Fries, all delicious! “The Bake Station has been a family favorite for the past 8 yrs, since we discovered it for my nut allergy kiddo. Literally cried the first time we went. To know that everything was safe and no cross contamination risk, it’s a feeling any allergy family holds very dear. Staff is ALWAYS the kindest, most patient humans. We celebrate birthdays with the Bumpy Cake, and we enjoy the donuts, bread and treats MORW than we should! If we lived closer, the place would be dangerous!“

“I ordered for the first time Wednesday, 1-10-24, from the new Waterford location. I got the lamb korma, some Naan, raita, and a mango Lassi (carryout). It took me a good twenty minutes to find the place because there was NO signage! My Lassi was warm and the rice was cold. Luckily the lamb was hot enough to warm the rice. I will definitely order again because the food was so good, but seriously, no sign?!“

The coffee was good and priced fairly. They have a good sized breakfast menu. I didn't try any, but I plan to in the future.

Honestly, it's a bit baffling that there were so few customers. I went on a Sunday at 11. My Only guess is that it's not as close to downtown as the other coffee shops, which have poor layouts.

Try it out! It would be a good date place, place to study or work on your computer.“

“Where do I even begin? The second we walked in the door, everyone was so wonderful! We took our twins out to celebrate their second birthday! Our waiter Nicholas was so kind and patient! He made sure our babies food was put in quickly and came out hot and fresh. (They were getting hangry. haha) Nicholas gave us some recommendations and they did not disappoint! 👏🏽 Everything we got was fresh, hot, and delicious, from the appetizer, to our meals, to the twins' meals. Even my mocktail was spot on! Their manager, Amanda, was who delivered our food. She was so sweet and cheerful!! She came back over later on to check on us and wish our babies a happy birthday! The entire restaurant was clean and well maintained. You can truly tell the staff enjoy their jobs. Nicholas and Amanda made sure we had a great first experience. My hubby and I have decided to come back, minus babies, and have a date night so we can further enjoy the extensive, and yummy looking, menu. 10/10 highly recommend.“

“I got a Italian sub it's lightly grilled and the veggies are extremely fresh and crunchy. It couldn't of been better than it was. It's small inside but we went on a Sunday after lunch time so fortunately it wasn't busy. There's only about 6 or 8 tables, it's in a strip mall across from another strip mall so there's a lot of places to go to in that general area.“

“I am always on the lookout for a good cupcake bakery especially since the 90 year old Knudsen bakery in North Rosedale Park closed when The owners retired. Since I was at the business next door, I had to stop in and was so happy I did. A larger selection of regular and gluten free versions. They also have cookies and even dog treats. The cupcakes were $4.75 each and worth every penny. Some of the freshest ones I have had in a while. Moist cake and rich icing. I got 3, carrot cake, chocolate cake with vanilla icing and vanilla cake with vanilla icing. The service was friendly and efficient along with being pleasant to talk with. Has parking lot. On the SE corner of Longlake and Woodward. I hope to be close to it again so I can enjoy some of the best cupcakes I have had.“
