“Went for a birthday dinner. As typical, the restaurant is always busy. It was a beautiful day and we got a terrific table on the patio. Our birthday boy ordered ribs--a family favorite--and had looked forward to them. The ribs were tender enough, but the sauce was awful. In the end, if you love ribs, it's all about the sauce and flavor profile. Ribs really are an art and it takes a great sauce/rub and also a nice sear on the ribs. Would not recommend ribs at this restaurant--and it was disappointing that the point of the gathering was to celebrate the birthday of the person who ordered ribs.

One of us ordered Icelandic cod. It was delicious! The rest of the party was very happy with their meals.

The server was wonderful. Very friendly, very professional and just a lovely person. She brought out a LARGE piece of carrot cake for the birthday without us asking for it. Terrific.

The menu is a little on the high side, but still a decent value considering the variety and quality of the meals. Servings were generous and delicious.

It’s such an amazing spot for a private, intimate event—we had around 50 guests, and the space was perfect. The entire process was seamless, the food was unbelievable, and the staff truly went above and beyond to make the day special. “The lettuce wraps were amazing 👏 🤩 😋. We got the lobster dumplings also, they were good but would be much better seared or fried so I wasn't much of a fan of them. And the spicy sesame chicken was amazing..... we wanted to try dessert but we were so full we almost rolled out of the restaurant. I will definitely be back. I had a great first experience!!!“

“On Friday, February 6, we went to Capitol Grille. It has been our “Go to” restaurant for birthdays and anniversaries for many years, except the disappointment of our absence during the repairs caused by the fire. The food is excellent, the service superb. This time, however, we went to celebrate a very special event. We had no intention of disclosing the purpose, except to tell them it was a very special event. The hostess that seated us, got my wife to disclose the event. Before we knew it, the Manager, Eric, came to our table, expressing congratulations, etc. Several others, some we knew, and others we did not, also came to our table to express their congratulations. Eric then returned a second time, with more kind words. “We’ve used Crispellis catering twice now - back in 2022 and now 2023 - both times the food was delicious and the delivery was on time, the set up was very helpful. The food was piping hot and packaged well to travel. They make the process easy and seamless. I cannot recommend them enough.“

“I ordered for the first time Wednesday, 1-10-24, from the new Waterford location. I got the lamb korma, some Naan, raita, and a mango Lassi (carryout). It took me a good twenty minutes to find the place because there was NO signage! My Lassi was warm and the rice was cold. Luckily the lamb was hot enough to warm the rice. I will definitely order again because the food was so good, but seriously, no sign?!“

“We loved L. A. Cafe. Great food and drinks, and they had many vegetarian options which was appreciated! I absolutely adore the atmosphere inside, and all the tie-dye items they have for sale! I can't wait to come back, I only wish they were open for longer that way I could make it in more! 😊“

“The food is absolutely fantastic. The pizza doesn't look like much but the taste and quality are great. You will be hard to find chicken tenders as good as these. Chicken sandwich was as good as popeyes and the sides from coleslaw, potato wedges and biscuits we're all great. I have forgotten how good sarokis is. EXCELLENT !“

Even my mocktail was spot on! Their manager, Amanda, was who delivered our food. She was so sweet and cheerful!! She came back over later on to check on us and wish our babies a happy birthday! The entire restaurant was clean and well maintained. You can truly tell the staff enjoy their jobs. Nicholas and Amanda made sure we had a great first experience. My hubby and I have decided to come back, minus babies, and have a date night so we can further enjoy the extensive, and yummy looking, menu. 10/10 highly recommend.“
