“Y’all don’t even understand how much I love this place. I live out of town, but every time I come home I try to get the spicy tuna poke bowl from here because i love and crave it that much. I don’t like poke from anywhere else but here.“

“This has become my new favorite sushi restaurant. The staff was friendly and gave great recommendations. The food was delicious. I did order a sushi roll that had truffle in it, and it was not my favorite, the flavors were not complimenting each other. Everything else we ordered was so flavorful and great that i would order it again next time. Boa buns were good, but not amazing.“

“This place is great. The chef and waitress are extremely kind people. The eel sauce doesn't have a strange after taste like some other restaurants. “Highly recommend going to Daebak. The food was delicious and the service was great. Plan on going there again and they do private parties and group tables.Parking: Was able to park close, but it does get busy during rush hours. There's a Korean store next door and kpop shop within the building as well as bubble tea shop.Kid-friendliness: There is seating for children as well. “Fantastic local sushi place in RH. Attentive servers and a diverse menu. We got the shrimp tempura and veggie tempura- super crispy and golden yellow, yum yum and Las Vegas rolls- 10 pieces each and the presentation and taste were delicious. There’s no alcohol at the establishment but plenty of other refreshments to choose from. Would def recommend!“

“BEST sushi I have ever had in Michigan. I ordered the Dragon Roll and Sunset Roll - both were so fresh & delicious. (The eel sauce & spicy mayo were the perfect duo) I would have posted a photo …but I ate it too fast. The service was amazing and I would 10/10 come back again!“

“It was a nice, cozy place and staff was friendly. We ordered the chicken yaki udon, chicken omurice, and 4 rolls of sushi (california roll, kazoku roll, las vegas roll, square lake roll). Everything tasted great but our favorite was the las vegas, square lake roll, and the yaki udon.“

“We tried Ronin Sushi the other day and it was decent. The vibe was cool, be aware that the lounge upstairs some of the seats don't have backs! I would recommend the lounge for a drink but not for a full meal - worth the wait for a table downstairs. The shrimp with yuzu app was tasty, the sashimi was fresh, sushi was okay (not bad but not super memorable). My boyfriend and I both got the whiskey sours and they were very tart. I would come back for the ambiance and the apps/sake. Random critique but organize the menus! It was kind of challenging to shuffle through the three menus front and back as some had similar food items/cocktails and others had different. Streamlining the menu would do wonders.“

“I hope you're hungry! This place provides a lot of food for your buck. I had the make your own wok bowl option, which provides a protein, rice or noodle, sauce, and 3 vegetables. Wow! My husband ordered the teriyaki bowl option with the same add-on options. We also ordered some Rangoon and miso soup. All for 30 bucks. You can't beat this place if you want fresh food for a great price. Quick customer service and a clean environment all around.“

“Service was great and I like the diner style restaurant.They add vegetables to the shrimp and to the calamari tempura appetizers, I imagine to make it seem more substantive. You can't get more shrimp or calamari by asking to hold the vegetables.I found it slightly greasy; tempura tends to be drier and lighter in other places.The shrimp and calamari appear to have been cooked prior to frying.I was underwhelmed.“

“BahDah is easily my favorite sushi spot in the area. You simply cannot beat the value you get for this food. The lunch teriyaki bento box is a steal and my favorite thing on the menu. When ordering carry out my order has always been correct and the staff in store is super sweet. If you'd like to dine in there are some tables to do so. Highly recommend coming here if you're looking for some delicious sushi at a fair price point.“

“I’m not in this area much but I would absolutely come back here. I would put them up against Benihana any day. The food was fresh and the wait was about 20 minutes because of how popular it was. Many people called their order in and picked up, but we walked in. There are 4 tables that seat 4 people, and they were nicely spaced out.“

Only complaint is the almond chicken sauce is not the gravy I’m used to and i think they should have stuck with traditional BUT the chicken itself was big portions and cooked to perfection. “A hidden gem in our area was recommended to us. A small restaurant serving Japanese fare and spirits. Menus in Japanese and English. I had a chicken dish over rice that was generous in portion and superior in flavor. Our dining companions had an assortment of sushi selections served on 2 huge platters. Again, the sushi portions were large and flavorful. Service was pleasant, professional, and prompt. We will be back. “I'd had sushi maybe once from Tai Fai and though good hadnt thought of them again. Im in the area on a monday and decide to get sushi takeout ( no dine on here). Its on 9 mile west of downtown in a small strip mall. It's tiny and does a busy takeout. Lots of sushi and korean variety. The sushi box was beautiful. “We really had a good time at Joe Muer West Bloomfield last night. The restaurant is spacious with a cool, relaxed ambiance. There's a dress code to eat here so be sure to adhere to that. Everyone in the restaurant was dressed business casual at minimum and it honestly added to the upscale vibe of the whole place. We started off with a dozen oysters, half east coast half west. The presentation was impeccable and the oysters super fresh. The lobster bisque and clam chowder were also fresh and lip-smacking tasty . For our main dishes, we had the miso glazed Chilean sea bass, the king crab tagliatelle pasta, and the crab stuffed Atlantic flounder. All three were amazing; filling and delicious and didn't sit heavy in the stomach. We ended the night with some of their coconut chiffon cake - which is a must have; its a combo that's impossible to describe but so wonderful that you'd wonder why no one else ever thought of it - and their cookie sundae. Again, perfect! But probably my personal favorite was the Re-Fashioned bourbon cocktail, which is, and I quote: "Knob Kreek Rye, Luxardo Maraschino liqueur, Rabarbaro Zucca Amaro, Angostura bitters, orange peel". It's absolutely perfect, especially those who enjoy a good bourbon drink. Tiny sips of this enhanced every single dish and really made my night. Our server was Josh and he made the whole dining experience fun and memorable. He was super personable, responsive and attentive. Thank you, Josh, for a great dining experience! Overall, this place is fantastic and I'd recommend it without hesitation.“

“They completely changed their setup for the better since the last time I visited. Now it is hot pot and kbbq for $29. The meats and veggies are now buffet style, which I really liked. I would say the meat selection was not very expansive, but what they did have was very good and hit the hot pot spot for me.“

“We booked a last-minute birthday dinner for our 13-year-old and we had the most amazing experience! The staff was so friendly and attentive from start to finish. The food was amazing. The Chef was energetic, entertaining, and great with the kids. The server was so kind and went above and beyond to make this a memorable birthday celebration. Our expectations were beyond exceeded. This was by far the best dinner experience I have had in a very long time and we are very thankful for that.“

“The price, quality and quantity were all very good. The service was horrendous but the rest of the pluses made up for the extremely slow service. What was most st disappointing was there were only 8 customers. I am typically pretty patient with restaurants due to workforce issues but this was just a really bad waitress. But they still get 5 stars.“

“I normally order the amazing shrimp roll with the dumpling soup. I ordered while sitting in the parking lot. Always, friendly and fast service. However, this time the soup was cloudy(normally clear like broth) and the dumpling taste was gooey/pastey like everything else inside. Times in the past I've ordered this soup, it's bright, fresh, slight crunch of the vegetables and soothing to the stomach(not this time)....I don't know if it had been sitting too long prior to being served but I hope this was just a one time failure. “I had the customizable poke bowl. I asked for a recommendation on sauces from the young man who prepared the fish and it was delicious. He mixed a few different sauces and it was so good. I’m from Hawaii and have also lived in Japan for several years. I’ve eaten a lot of poke bowls on the mainland and this is easily one of the best poke bowls I’ve had outside of Hawaii. The fish tasted fresh and I love that they use vinegar sushi rice in the bowl instead of plain rice.“

“What a surprisingly good find. I tried an appetizer and three specialty rolls and everything was great. The atmosphere is refreshingly nice, contemporary and elegant in its clean simplicity, yet with added elements indicating personal touches that are endearing and unique. “Loved everything about it. But there were families with small kids just allowed to run amuck. With no one to say anything. Running around the restaurant without shirts on. Jumping on chairs. Yelling. You get the point. I recommend that Nara say something to customers when these things happen versus just allowing it to happen. Second time I've witnessed this. “Big fan of Miyako Hibachi! It isn’t cheap but it is affordable considering the portions and quality of food. The average entree choice is $25ish. The chefs are usually always fun and talkative, very personable. You’ll start off with soup and salad before the entree. You have a wide variety of choices for protein(s), and the fried rice, noodles, and vegetables it comes with is very good!“
