“This place has been my go too for a few years. Hands down the best Chicken Gyro around, the spicy sauce and ranch dressing they have is excellent. The staff is always friendly and the service is top notch. My only complaint is sometimes they are too busy and you will have to wait for a seat. But this place is definitely worth the wait.“

This is one of those places where you just know most of their daily business is from the community, and the staff probably knows most of the customers names.My waitress was named Julia and she was both witty and pleasant. “I met up with my family at On the Rocks for Tuesday $1.00 burger night and the food was very good. They have awesome fried rice there too. Everyone in our party really enjoyed the food. The staff was great. They genuinely cared about the service they were delivering. We will definitely be going back there again!“

“For a stereotypical American breakfast-type chain restaurant, the food is pretty good and consistent. I've never had any real issues with my orders and IF there was a mistake it was always minor and corrected immediately with an apology and a smile.

The atmosphere is a bit nostalgic which is part of the charm for me personally. It feels old school and comforting which is nice in a fast-paced world.

The customer service is really why I'm here to write this review though. Having frequented this place so much to the point where a few of the servers know exactly who I am and what I want (lol), it's still always a pleasant interaction and warm smiles all around. If I ever move, I will sincerely miss this place.“

“Want to give a review for Chloe S. I came in with my grandparents and niece along with my 2 children, 3yrs. old and 8 weeks old. She sat us outside under the awning and was a great experience. Showed the kids a lot of attention and made sure we were all taken care of coming out and checking on us consistently. BTW the food was great!“

“This is a grip of nostalgia from the word go.

This restaurant is never more than it needs to be. One person on the grill, one waitress, and a great lineup of breakfast and lunch options.

The place is cash only, which is not something you see everyday. And EVERYTHING on the menu is under $10.

You won’t find a better value for breakfast in the area. The cynics would say it needs to be renovated, but if they do it would take away from the charm.

Nothing needs to change about this place. We will be here again. Thank you“

“My wife and I ordered the “Fish & Chips” When I tell you we have found our new spot for Fish in Taylor “We found our new spot” The fish was fresh & flakey, batter was light and crunchy, the tartar sauce had a good amount of relish in it. Not all mayo! Our dinner also came with soup, (3 to choose from) chicken noodle, lemon rice, and clam chowder. We chose clam chowder, very flavorful & packed with clams. This spot is right down the street from my grandkids house. I have been there many times with them but I did not put two & two together when we ordered our carry out. (Door Dash) Now that we know, you can count on us being repeat offenders. Thanks for the great meal we will still be in with the grands for Sunday breakfast lol. 5+++“

“The Bistro in the lobby of the Detroit Metro Airport Marriott is an okay place to post up if you need to. The food is really nothing special - hotel prices for very basic snacks and meals. But the atmosphere is nice, with recently renovated seating areas (including couches and many TVs showing various sports). If you want to catch a game while staying at this hotel, the Bistro and lobby is an okay place to do so.“

People who came after us were served. This second visit we had a sandwich and an omelette. There was no reason to wait 25 minutes for the food. We were really considering leaving. Then we were going to take some food home but since our waitress didn’t come by, we decided to just pay and leave. We’ve been going to Pipers for many many years, but after the service we received the last two visits, it will be awhile before we come back. This is sad because the food is really good. The restaurant only had 5 tables with people and there were 4 or 5 people hanging around the register.“

“Celebrating our 66 anniversary, we were there early, it was very quite, we were sat at a window seat on the water side, service was great,waitress (I don't remember her name) was very good and friendly. The food and drinks were very good, and then a surprise they gave us a nice slice of cake to celebrate our anniversary. Very enjoyable night.“

Our food was pretty darn good—exactly what you want for a standard, satisfying diner meal. Highly recommend if you have some extra time before heading to your gate!“

“Feels like an old style dinner with mostly booths. Got right in and service was friendly and fast. I got crunchy peanut butter French toast. They were not as yummy as I was expecting but not bad. Portion was big, I only was able to eat about half of them. My Wife got a veggie omelet and hash browns, she said they were very good. Prices are pretty good and they do have breakfast specials as well. Overall a good place for breakfast.“
