“My new fav spot for meeting hubby for lunch. Staff is great. Old building with high ceilings has an old fashioned feel to it. Bright space with windows flooding it with sun light. Chalkboard signs add charm. Coffee and beverage specials change regularly. I love anything with their house made lavender syrup! The food is fresh and tasty but I wish more variety and specials were offered. The Shag Toast is delicious!! Heading there for lunch NOW!!“

I go here frequently for my morning coffee and am always impressed by the exceptional kindness and attentiveness of the staff, as well as the quality of the coffee and food. The menu is interesting and varied; the employees personable and thoughtful. “A friend from town recommended this place, and I’m SO glad we stopped here. I had the seasonal waffle flight, and these were easily the BEST waffles I have had in my lifetime. So delicious. I also had a season maple butter latte and it was so tasty. My kids loved their smoothie, and husband loved his breakfast bowl. Amazing coffee options, and great breakfast selections. I don’t leave a lot of reviews, but this place deserved one for sure. It was a quick drive from St. Joe and absolutely worth it! Service was amazing and very friendly happy faces. “We enjoyed everything about this hotel. Parking was easy, the hotel itself is clean and well maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The ladies at the front desk were so nice and quick, making checking in and out very easy, and answering all our annoying questions about the area. The bartender was amazing and delightful, as was the gentleman at the starbucks. Overall, this has to be one of the best hotels in the area. “A good place to eat a hearty breakfast in Berrien Springs! Just be aware that the price on the menu is inaccurate atm. They said they are working on a new menu, and informed us $2 more for each menu when we were done with our food. But it seems like there are some menus that cost more than that. We ordered five menus: Chopped steak (menu price - 7.75), mozzarella sticks (4.75), fried mushrooms (4.75), vege Niki burger (6.75), 6oz ribeye steak (10.5), which is 34.5 (36.57 if sales tax included) but the actual price was 53.03. So make sure to have a good amount of cash on you so that you wouldn’t be sitting there hoping you have enough ?“
