“Felt like a burger & a game today. Decided to try the Halfway Bar & Grill for the 1st time, based on my neighbor's recommendation. Cozy atmosphere with windows looking out to the Cedar River, good music, prompt & friendly service. Chelsea went above & beyond to try to get an out of area game on for me. Ordered a Bloody Mary & the burger special with their homemade fries. Everything was delicious. Martha, the Chef, came out & explained that they can also do gluten free & vegan options upon request, which is great info for future reference. This is my new favorite spot! So happy to discover the Halfway Bar & Grill!”

“What a great find! We travel to Michigan frequently to visit family, and it's not easy to find a convenient place to stop for lunch along the lake. This place might not be glamorous, but the sandwiches are tasty, the portions generous, and the soup and bread are homemade. Delicious + cheap = I'm adding this to my list of favorites. Never mind that it's in a gas station -- this is where you want to eat. Special note for EV drivers: there are 2 EV charging stations in the parking lot.”
