“The Hideout shocked me, i drove by for many years and figured it was a hole/little bar. When I walked in the interior was very nice. So the business end of the review, i had a cheeseburger with grilled onions and it was so darn good I was shocked. I came back the following night it was so good hoping they could replicate it, im not here for the drinks but the cheeseburger! Once again the chef comes through with a home run. Ill be back tomorrow or the next day, its that good and its of tremendous value, im not sure how they do it. The place is a gem!“

“The place was awesome great burgers and extremely great prices. The wait staff was great me and my wife popped in for a beer and some food. We were greeted instantly when we walked in And we had drinks in front of us in about 2 minutes The food was awesome The burgers range from about 8 bucks to 12 bucks depending on what you order. The fries were like five bucks for a whole basket. They also have outdoor seating with a nice patio in downtown Utica which is great. Right down the street from Jimmy John's field. You could definitely sit out on the patio and watch the fireworks when the field is doing them. Could definitely bring children here. Not so much wheelchair friendly as there are a couple steps inside. Although I'm sure you can manage somehow. There are plenty of places to park around the back there's a big lot that you can park in down the road or you can get lucky and get a spot in downtown Utica. The service was fantastic The burgers were cooked to perfection and drinks were ice cold what more could you ask for. I'm definitely recommending this place and we will definitely be back You can't beat it.

“Where do I even start! This is hands down, the premier cigar bar! I’ve gone to a few others and they don’t compare to DCs. Chris and Donny (owner) has done an incredible job. First off, the ventilation. On a packed night, the place isn’t even overly cloudy or smokey, great ventilation. Their humidor also offers a great selection of cigars at affordable prices. Next the food. Everything in the menu is top notch and other very affordable. The steak bites, deviled eggs, burgers, fries, everything, 5 out of 5. Now, the atmosphere, unlike any other cigar bar. It’s classy, looks good, clean, and always has a great mix in music and tv selection. They also have a hell of a drink selection, very impressive. Lastly, the staff. I’ve become a regular over the last six months and have had the pleasure to work with some of the best in the business. Sarah and Rheanna are amazing, they don’t get any better than these two! They’re friendly, treat you like they’ve known you for years, professional and know their business. Most would say they do this for the tips, they don’t. They do it because that’s just who they are, just friendly and sweet. Joe is also one hell of a guy! Everybody on the staff makes time for you. The moment you walk in, they greet you by name. They have an incredible staff, that’s what keeps you coming back. Thank you all for making this place a great spot to sit down and enjoy a night out, whether a date night, a guys night out or even just a solo night to grab a drink and a cigar! “I really enjoyed my 3 vegan tacos. They have about 5 taco options plus vegan nachos and a couple other dishes. Vegan options didn’t feel like an afterthought which I usually encounter in restaurants. Great service. Look forward to going back. Updated from previous review on 2025-08-24“

“Very popular restaurant and bar. We came on the weekend this time for brunch. Large menu with omelets, benedicts, french toasts. Regular menu has wings,sandwiches and ? .We got the wings and they(3)were large full and sticky. Our omelettes were good with plenty inside. The French toast too. My friend thought their benedict not their best and probably wouldn't get it again. Ask about gluten free or vegan. Betty get GF bread or bun please.

It was busy and the crowd was watching the game so it was fun. Tony U was our server and was on it. ?
Cocktails were pricey to me considering the size

They have several meat and non meat options to choose from, and our server Colby did an awesome job helping us navigate the menu to create a great Taco Tuesday experience. He took great care of us and made the fun but large menu even more approachable and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend trying it out, just keep in mind that if you are from CA/TX and like things SPICY, that the spice level on all items is geared towards a midwestern pallet aka on the milder side.“

Sarah was our waitress, who is also a 15 year experienced bartender on the side, was AMAZING to say the least! She was so friendly, helped make us crazy custom shots and was happy to do it!!

“I took my two son’s here today. My youngest has autism and others’ kindly describe him as “a handful.” Accurate. The server comes over and asks for our drinks. She brings them back and my son just throws the cup across the aisle. And then laughs. Autism is super fun like that. Lauren (the server) was super nice about the mess. Another female server cleaned up the milk. They were both very understanding and it helped so much - probably more than they realize! I tipped them both but I hope a manager sees this, because, they are awesome employees!! You’re lucky to have them!“
