High five to Culver’s in Clawson

I was diagnosed with celiac disease at the end of July 2023, so it’s been three years. Because of cross contamination, I really don’t get takeout or go out to eat. I’ve been glutened so many times that it’s just not worth the pain. And the pain is severe when gluten’d which lasts for days and knocks you off your feet.

I follow an influencer who also has celiac disease, and every now and then she’ll go to a fast food restaurant. Last week she went to a Culver’s. I haven’t had Culver’s in over three years, but tonight I decided to give it a try.

I had memorized all of her questions, and I kid you not, I went to Culver’s and they went the distance. They took everything serious. They even wrote down “severe gluten allergy.” They have a dedicated fryer for their fries, which was so exciting. Then I ordered a burger that was cooked on a clean grill with no bread or anything else that had been on it, and they served it on a gluten free bun.

Here we are an hour later, knock on wood, and everything is great. I literally could cry happy tears.“

“This Checkers is amazing. Like everytime I come here its on point. Its never a hit or miss. Food fresh and hot. Customer service is impeccable. All smiles and courteous. They really have improved over the last year . Never was bad but it has improved. I love the loaded fries and the fish sandwich. Never could go wrong with the big buford. “This is my new favorite Taco Bell, the reason is Dashaila. She made our night! We visited on January 3, at 10:24 PM. We had just visited two other different fast food, restaurants, where all of our interactions were void of humanity; No smiles, all drudgery, and the food was really weird.
When we arrived at this Taco Bell after those interactions, we were pleasantly surprised by Dashaila. She greeted us with a happy sounding voice, and a sincerity you don’t often find in a drive-through. She was so pleasant and kind, she truly made our night! We received the order super quick and it was all perfect. It also tasted really good! Please give her a raise!!“

“It is Taco Bell. I mean, what more can I say? I enjoy Taco Bell, even after all these years. It is consistent. I usually get the 3 hard taco meal with Dr. Pepper and Hot Sauce. It is still one of the most affordable fast food restaurants and that is a huge plus!“

“After 24 hours of bailing water out of the basement we needed a real meal - so nice to come in, and as busy as it was - to see a smiling face, staff even taking the time to ask how we were doing. Excellent food too!“

“I came in today and they were extremely busy and short staffed. There was a new kid on the register named Quinton he was very polite and got my food fast. He had one of his employees Tabitha helping him out. (You could tell he was really nervous but he acted like a pro. Lol) this was a great experience going to this location and really seeing team work at its finest. Definitely will be coming back.“
