However, I've never seen such a highly rated sandwich place use processed cheese instead of actual swiss cheese. The meat was good although the portion seemed a bit light and the sandwich overall was excellent. I'll come back but won't ask for cheese on my sandwiches.“

“Delicious shawarma bowls: chicken, beef, falafel or gyro. I haven't tried the cream chop but I know those are good too. The pink Greek dressing can't found everywhere so I like that they have it here. Food is always fresh and they run a very neat and clean kitchen and grill. The staff is always courteous. “We have no experience of "real" Korean food; we rely on what is offered by local Great Detroit restaurants but I can say what Chung Ki Wa has to offer is in absolute terms of very good quality, tasteful and satisfying. Plus the fact that the place is crowded by Asian guests, once more means a lot. We chose the well known Korean BBQ although in the menu much more is available. 2 types of meat and all the side small dishes that are usual with the BBQ, plus the dih similar to a big omelette with different vegetables. Everything was very good and tasty, no complains at all.“

“This is a terrific little ice cream stand on the fringe of downtown Auburn Hills. They have a vast array of flavors, more so than most IC spots that are primarily soft serve places. We tried the Banana and we added chocolate chips for good measure. It was great. Of course, their classic varieties are also good. Our grandsons tried the chocolate and vanilla (with sprinkles, naturally), respectively, and were quite happy with their choices.

The service was friendly and efficient and their prices were very fair. They have some picnic tables on the grounds where you can sit and enjoy your treats. It was an enjoyable experience and we'll look forward to our next chance to pay a visit.“

They cheerfully made fresh batches of delicious hummus (two varieties) which came with chips and pita bread. I served that, along with two kinds of their fabulous soup, to my dinner guests. Everyone complimented the delicious food Kal and Ann prepared. If you haven’t tried KAL’s Lunch Bowl, located in the Royal Oak Farmers Market yet, I recommend it. “I have been to this brewery a handful of times and the beers just keep getting better and better. They have a full line up; lighter options, IPA’s, stouts, sours, etc. Every time I go, they have something better than the last time. Yesterday, I visited the brewery and I am in a straight leg brace and crutches after having knee surgery. James, the bartender, was very courteous and helpful, even going as far as bringing me over an extra padded chair to elevate my leg on without me asking. It’s hard to find great service like that anymore. I highly recommend this brewery to anyone.“

Maybe it’s my own personal experiences, but strip mall located coffee / bakery / lunch houses are hit or miss. We found this business while trying to hit a quick spot on our way home.

Just know from here on out - this spot HITS.

✅Excellent fall seasonal menu.
✅Coffee flights available.
✅Generous portion sizes.
✅Bakery items were tasty and well priced. ($0.95 for a peanut butter cookie is just unheard of these days)

Staff was friendly, kind and accommodating for our family.

They had a steady line but worked through it well and no one waited more than you’d expect to get your food and drinks.

“Absolutely love this place. Excellent food, great service. We frequent both the original Allen Park location and Sterling Heights. We love the asada and Al pastor tacos, the pollo quesadilla and the carne asada fries. Portions are an excellent value for the price.“

“I had the banana matcha latte that was recommend by Taya, one of the girl’s that works there. Great, friendly customer service! The latte was so good that I returned the next morning to get it again!

As for the atmosphere, it was a good place to work. All the seating areas have outlets - super convenient when working there. Wasn’t busy from 8-10am but starts to pick up after. Good spot!“
