“First time going into this establishment so I asked the clerk to recommend something, and he recommended the Soul Survivor, which was a soft cheesy and delicious vegan type hamburger, and the Thug Passion smoothie which was banana, pineapple and strawberries, and was extremely tasty (maybe just a hair too small). “AMAZING FOOD! The fried oyster mushrooms were to die for. The gyro, hands down the best gyro I've had, vegan or not. Whenever we go to a different city, I always try to find at least 1 new plant based dish to try. I try to pick a smaller business and a place that has something unique. Detroit area has some outstanding choices for plant based food - more than a lot of cities. I would recommend More Life Foods as a top choice for a vegan, vegetarian, or an omni. I'm going to try to convince the boyfriend to swing through on the way back to Ohio so I can get another gyro.“

“This was our first time here at Host. We love our server Danica. She was very attentive and brought us a treat for our friend birthday!
I really love the concept here with rotating chefs every 6-8 weeks. Definitely coming back for dinner.

For the mains, you can either build your own or taco/bowl/burrito or choose from one of their signature pairings from a large menu. They have several meat and non meat options to choose from, and our server Colby did an awesome job helping us navigate the menu to create a great Taco Tuesday experience. He took great care of us and made the fun but large menu even more approachable and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend trying it out, just keep in mind that if you are from CA/TX and like things SPICY, that the spice level on all items is geared towards a midwestern pallet aka on the milder side.“

“The absolute most perfect polish meal. My Aunt and I teared up when we got our plates and started eating, it brought us right back to growing up with our Polish grandmother/mother!!

“We love iFreeze! We took our daughter who has Celiac Disease. They have items marked as gluten free on the menu. She had the S’mores ice cream and loved it. They were very knowledgeable about Celiac and cleaned the machines before use. They keep all GF items separated as well. It’s so important to us to have safe places for our daughter to eat and have dessert. Would recommend iFreeze to anyone!“

“Been here a few times since moving to Ferndale. I'm yet to have the same dish twice, and have NEVER been disappointed. The owner and staff are super friendly, my food is always ready quick, and the menu/weekly specials always have something interesting. I only wish they were open later for night owls like myself, but they're worth getting up earlier for. Go for the entrees, but don't forget to grab dessert there, too! The Coconut Cream Cake that was on special the day I'm writing this might be the best piece of cake I've ever had.“
