“Waitress was very nice and fast. Restaurant was clean and pleasant. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is cause we got the buffet and the pancakes were hard from being on the warmer for such a long time. When someone came to add more pancakes they didn't take the hard ones away just put new ones on top.

“We stopped at the diner on our visit to Frankenmuth. We couldn't pass up the opportunity of dining at a legit classic diner!

Everything we ordered tasted great. The dishes are paired very well in ingredients. The young lady who waited on us did a great job. The diner had a good amount of people in it the whole time we were there. Definitely seems to be a local favorite.

If you're a local or a tourist, I definitely recommend the comet diner. Next time we go back, we gotta try for lunch or dinner!“

Our expectations weren't just met, they were exceeded in taste, price, proportions, and friendliness of the staff. We will be coming back for one more breakfast before we head home! “First of all great menu selection, and great food. But wanted to give a shout of thanks and praise to the waitstaff and management. Our large group really appreciated the accommodating, super friendly nature of the staff. They made us feel like family. We did get there just before the dinner rush the 2 nights we visited but they were quick to accommodate our 12+ group the first night and 25+ group the 2nd night. Everyone loved their food and our vegetarians had a lot to choose from too. Each night one waitress took care of our group and it was astonishing how quickly our orders were taken and our food was received. Management checked in on us regularly with friendliness that warmed our hearts. “It was the last day they were open before owners closed for their 2-week vacation. They should have let their employees keep it open while they were gone. We hope that when they return that all the same employees come back. It's hard to draw unemployment for 2 weeks.
