“This is our new favorite middle eastern spot! We have ordered party combos several times over the last couple of months and everyone loves the food. Everything is delicious! You can’t go wrong!“

“Dined-in, excellent food at this small restaurant with a few high tables. Split the chicken shawarma plate with veggies with my husband, also ordered hommus and meat grape leaves. Everything was great, fresh and evidently made with skill and love. My fave veg was the pickled cabbage. The grape leaves stuffing wasn't my the best ever, but the leaves themselves certainly were. The texture and size were amazing. My husband really liked the sauce they put on the grape leaves, for him, these were the best tasting he's had. Plenty of pita bread to scoop up the hommus. Right temperatures for all the food. A family owns, cooks and staffs the place and they made us feel welcomed and treated us royally. Delicious date filled cookies to go was a winning touch for a superb meal. Wish I lived closer!“

My ambulance partner and I ordered food for pickup over DoorDash and they were unfortunately out of my zucchini salad. They were quick to issue my refund and happy to get me a replacement on a separate bill. So I ordered the Tabbouleh instead, and im so happy I did. The boxes were packed neat, the food was mouthwatering! My partner had never had Mediterranean food and she ate her build your own bowl complimenting every flavor she got in every bite! “I normally frequent the brownstone location. however in my work travels sometimes I stop by the 14 n Woodward location. today I got a bowl and had a few problems. 1 the lid wasn't on all the way so now got food all over my clothes and inside my vehicle. also the pieces of meat were big and not sliced up. How tf is someone supposed to eat that with a plastic fork ? it would of took 30 seconds to slice that up for a bowl, instead it was left whole. normally the food is great, but today was not good.“

“Let's talk about coffee. I'm a person that only drinks one dark roast coffee in the morning. I also only drink one large mug in my stainless steel Yeti with the vacuum seal and I want it to be a good tasting one or I don't want any at all. I'm that kind of person. So on a Sunday when we escaped the house and I never got my usual cuppa and we went to Red Olive for breakfast I was craving a cup of coffee. I almost never order coffee out unless it's a coffee cafe and then not often because I think it's crazy expensive. Ok. Please don't judge me. It's just my thing. But on this Sunday our darling waitress said: "Trust me. Our coffee is good. It is a Red Olive blend...not just a run of the mill type." She was right. It WAS good. Not the same as my homemade coffee but I'm telling you I had 3 cups. The cups are small and they re-fill often so it stays hot. I ordered a spinach feta omelet and they almost always taste the same everywhere and I like that taste so when we are making a breakfast decision I'll definitely suggest Red Olive because they have better coffee than other breakfast places we've gone to. Small pleasures in life make a difference.“

“I'm on a fixed income, so "fast food" is only an occasional treat for me. I found out about Shawarma Spot through a friend, and it has become my favorite little take-out restaurant. Their portions are quite generous, and you have several options for sauces and toppings. I order the Beef Shawarma, and at $8, I get two delicious meals for the price of one! (Admittedly, as a Senior, I have a small appetite.) Staff is always friendly, and they even put my "sauce on the side", so it still tastes fresh for my leftovers. I've frequently seen work crews there ordering Shawarma's multiple chicken wing deals. Give them a try!“

“Great family-friendly diner. We started going there a month or so ago, and every time we are in the area, we are going. Sundays are nice. Big football fans, and they always have the games playing. Food is absolutely phenomenal. I go there and I won't leave without my hashbrowns. A place where you know you're gonna leave a tip because you know you're gonna enjoy every second of your time there, and even more every bite. And big shout out to the young lady who normally waits on us. I'll get her name in an update. She's always very nice, quick, gives us our time, but still always makes sure we have what we need without making us feel rushed.“
