“On the dunes have so much going on it's hard to even describe it all. Golf simulator party rooms, baseball, football bowling, volleyball, basketball, a huge pool table in the floor that you kick the balls to play and axe throwing just to name a few. Great food and excellent drinks at the bar, inside this huge complex with a great small bar vibe.“

“Visited Griffin's Sports Bar for an employee Christmas party with appx. 35 to 40 ppl in our group. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food came surprisingly quick and our drink glasses were, for the most part, always full! "Fowling" was a blast! Easy to learn for first-timers as well as a great workout with very low impact on your body! Will definitely be back. Enjoyed the experience tremendously!“

“Art & Jakes is a pretty solid place. The tacos were good and I’m glad that it came with some sides. The rice was pretty good and I enjoyed the corn salad. On the menu it doesn’t say that it comes with either side, so it was a pleasant surprise! The environment is pretty typical sports bar which is cool, however, it does get loud if that impacts you. Overall, good experience though!“

“I only had a sandwich and some mozzarella sticks but those were good and other people seemed happy with their meals - but mostly here to say the atmosphere / service at this place is unmatched. Amy & Heather who I got the opportunity to have as bartenders and servers both times I came (and they’re sisters! How fun) both went beyond the call of normal service. This place was the closest nearby spot to an emergency vet I took my dog to after an attack. I was obviously a bit solemn when I came in the first time for lunch and immediately they asked me if I was okay and both came around the bar to hug me when tears started welling and listened to my story and showed so much care and compassion for my poor doggy. When I came back a week later they recognized me IMMEDIATELY and asked how my boy was doing and were overjoyed when I said he’s healing well and getting stitched up today. I also wanted to come back to get their names just so I could be sure to mention them by name in a review because they certainly deserve it. Outside of that, clearly they (and the rest of the staff here) have compassion and familiarity with mostly everyone who walked in the door. They impressively remembered names, usual orders, and asked specific questions about peoples’ lives (and I was sitting at the bar for a long time while I waited for my dog both times and got to witness LOTS of interactions) - all were overwhelmingly positive. I love love LOVE this place. I live in Detroit and rarely come to the suburbs unless I need to - but I might have to start making Mr. Joe’s a regular stop ❤️❤️❤️❤️“

“Matt has done a good job at cleaning the place up, especially the restrooms. Open Mic night is a great way to see live performances and many different styles. I also like Friday Karaoke- the bar was 80% full and people were having a great time with their friends. If I was to have any complaint it would be parking, needs better lighting , repaving and expanding if at all possible. If that happened they would have to have add another floor“

“Our server Miranda took an order outside. She noticed a water bottle on the grass & picked it up, She could have left it for the landscapers to pick up but on this very chilly day she took the time. Miranda was pleasant and wish more employees were like her.“

Their menu offers a solid variety of comfort food and pub favorites, but the real standout is the bread pudding—hands down the best in Michigan. Fair warning - during peak dinner hours the inside can get VERY loud, like ears ringing later loud. wish owners would add some sound baffling. outside seasonal seating is pristine.
