“I rarely leave reviews, but our service that last two visits deserve it! Our kids love the free popcorn and card games. We love the food and drinks, and June is the best bartender and waitress! She reminded us what real hospitality feels like, remembers us and our orders from previous visits, and made real connections with our teens. We'll definitely be back on nights when she's working!“

Their rotating themed menu keeps things fresh, and I’d even say they rival some of the best bars I’ve visited in much larger cities. Over the past year, we’ve returned for multiple menu iterations and have always left impressed—not just by the drinks but by the exceptional staff. Connor, Johnny, and Nick (one of the owners) excel at crafting unique cocktails and bring deep knowledge of emerging industry techniques. Their creativity and expertise make every visit an experience worth savoring. I also appreciate that Drip Drop goes beyond just great cocktails—they occasionally host events like fundraisers and live music, adding to the vibrant atmosphere. Plus, their selection of light snacks is a thoughtful touch, making it an even more enjoyable place to spend an evening.“

“Was in tonight for dinner in GR on the front patio with a couple girlfriends and we were approached by a homeless man who tried to grab our bags. I’m reaching out to praise your manager and the rest of the staff for taking our concerns seriously and jumping into action. Top notch team you’ve got there. You were already a go to spot for us, but even moreso now. Thank you for a great spot, delicious menu, and for making your patrons safety a top priority!!“

“My husband and I came here for my 28th birthday and had such an amazing experience! Our waiter was very kind, the food was outstanding, and the atmosphere was amazing. We had calamari as our starter and I had the mushroom ravioli and my husband had the steak and we loved all of it! For dessert we ordered a s’mores dessert and were pleasantly surprised! I heard they have a speak easy type of lounge downstairs which is unfortunately closed on Mondays which was the day we went. But I’ll definitely be going back go see it!“

“My friends and I had a great time here! We walked in on a Saturday and were able to get seated right away! The hostess was friendly and our server was great. Each of us enjoyed our drinks! My husband did the mystery drink and ended up enjoying his as well. The decor is super cute in there and the hanging lights give it a cozy vibe. There is an outdoor seating area as well that offers similar cozy vibes as well! I will definitely be coming back to this spot!“

“Our party of 8 had friendly and attentive service. The cocktails and mocktails were very good. The kids liked their fancy mocktails. We came here because we were told the fried ribs were delicious and they were correct, they were delicious. The frites were also good, I got the truffle frites. The carrot cake was pretty good also. They have roof top seating so that's where we sat.“

“Dinner just this week. Food was, as always, delicious and very well presented! Service was attentive, efficient, and energetic. A really good wine list! Varied regions and countries with representatives of some of the best and best bargains from “old world” and “new world.” We can verify the wine mark-up is absolutely minimal! We had the walleye and shortribs. Both were really delicious! The kind of food one expects to find in NYC, Chicago, SF, etc. Hats off to this husband and wife team that know how to do it up so well, providing outstanding food, wine, and service!! We will keep coming back!“

“This was our 1st visit to a Hop Cat and knew it was going to be loud. That would be the only negative I felt we need to mention, but overall we loved the place. Food was great, our server, Julia, was great. Everyone must try the Fries! Great beer selections, too! My husband had the Chicken Bowl and I had the Steak quesadillas and they were both very good. We will definitely go back.“

“I don’t know where to begin. This is TIKI MECCA!!! A TIKI CATHEDRAL!!! Max’s collection of fine historic Tiki items is BEYOND extensive!!! This place is a national treasure of the highest order! The food was amazing! The drinks are spot on! And what variety! Staff are attentive! I would leave six or seven stars if I could!“

“I had to leave ANOTHER review! Jackson was so boss as my wife and I's server. We allocated an amount of time to get to our next destination that we infringed upon. Jackson did everything within his power to rally the troops to get is in and out but not feel rushed in the slightest.
Extra props to MATT! This phenom is less than a week into the job and despite not being in his section he took time out of his responsibilities to check in with my wife and I!

“Best slices in GR and great service as well in my experience. I have loved pizza my whole life and am originally from Chicago. So my expectations are high. But skip Vito's and come here for slice and get a drink while you're at it.“

“The cocktails made with in house gin and rye are dah bomb! The servers are attentive and personable. The food is amazing - highly recommend the fried rice and cod. Capt Dave for the beer win with a visit to the gorgeous beer garden in the back. A must visit when in the Grand Rapids area.“
