“Janel is an incredible Mixologist and Individual as a whole. Her creative vision from her art work, or her art and fresh, awe-aspiring, intrinsic cocktails she creates. The bar program alone is an experience no review could do justice, you’ll have to give yourself that pleasure. Don’t just take my word for it. The food, impressive design, indescribable ambience ~ EVERYTHING here is just so intentionally thought of and executed with clear passion. “I’ve driven by Stables Bar and Grill, and I decided to stop in one day. Everyone is super friendly, great atmosphere, cold beer, and great food. I had a couple of draft beers 🍺 I ordered a cheeseburger 🍔 and both were great! I will definitely be back!“

“My friends and I hit this bar up on the biggest bar night of the year! Thanksgiving Eve! We arrived around 10:00pm (no cover) and it was already so packed. They played great music, the DJ was seriously on point. Jack and Coke was only $6.00 and the pours = very very very strong. I was impressed with the environment. The bartenders were nice, the people around me were nice, it was just a really cool vibe! The only thing I'll say is...the bathrooms! Way too small for the amount of people allowed in that bar. And they could have used a little more attention as well. Other than that....great place.“

I absolutely loved the margarita vodka, it was fantastic! You can even tell the waitress how strong you want it, and they’ll make it just right.
We were served by a lady called Marr today ,she was incredibly kind, patient, and professional. If management is reading this, she definitely deserves a raise or bonus.

“We went here for the first time yesterday & had an absolutely wonderful experience. The owners are so so nice & helpful with helping what cigar to pick. We came in & the warm welcoming & cozy atmosphere felt like we were at home. I got the expresso martini & it was by far the BEST one I’ve ever had! Definitely will be a regular spot for us. Can’t wait to go back 🤩“

“Stopped in today with several coworkers and took advantage of the $10 lunch special. Brisket sandwich and fries. Fries were pretty good but the brisket sandwich is what will bring me back. Very moist, well prepared and flavorful. The price is right as well. Wish I could have had a cocktail but there’s always next time. See ya soon.“

“We had our Detroit wedding reception here in the private event space in the back. We could not have been more pleased with our experience! Heather, the manager, was attentive and professional from the initial meeting about renting the space, all of the planning and throughout the event. All of the staff were so fun and kind! They kept everything organized and the drinks flowing during the reception. We had a wonderful experience here and we are so glad we chose this as our venue! We can’t wait to come back on our next visit just to enjoy the dope atmosphere and great drinks! Thanks Heather and team for everything!

“Beautiful interior and exterior. The patio out front allows for outside drinks. The interior is clean! The staff was amazing during my first visit. Fun and welcoming to conversation. I got the maple wings and street corn (elote). I could eat that corn all day. So good!! Decent selection of mexican beers and some American alternatives. My second drink was a cocktail. It tasted as good as I expected :)
I accidentally double tipped. They add 20% gratuity to your bill. THEY HIGHLIGHT IT ON THE RECEIPT. I DID NOT SEE IT. I wasn't looking. I just looked at the total and made a second 20% tip. I AM NOT UPSET. I just feel stupid lol.
Parking: The parking lot across the side street is for the grocery store only but I'm not sure how strict it is. I went on a Saturday around 4-5. Livernois was packed for parking. I found a spot of the side street a few businesses away.“
