“Lovely, chic spot for some very well made and flavorful Japanese cuisine. 😋 Not really that big of a dining room. Very polite and helpful staff. Menu is large, many options that all look amazing. I wanted to try the rice balls and curry, but ended up getting my usual for any Asian spot: ramen and gyōza. Both were absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back here when we're in Lansing! Also, wow the bathrooms here are very clean. Love that.“

“P.F Chang's is always a good option for a family or individual meal. It's not quite real Asian food but it's still good. It's a good meal and the staff are nice. The selection is always good and for Americanized Asian food it is a nice alternative from burgers and fries.“

“My family grew up here on the lake. It has changed so much through the years. Since my husband & I moved here a few months ago we have made China Express a part of our weekly meal plan. We both have our favorites, however we keep trying a new selection each week so we can try everything on the menu. I'm not exaggerating when I say Every Dish has been so delicious. We are so happy to have such talented chefs as part of our neighborhood. We Love you guys!“

“Went in looking for Dum Sum but I think we had to request it, because the normal menu did not offer it. Still, not knowing, we ordered food off the regular menu and it was not disappointing. I ordered the combo bbq plate of Peking Duck and pork belly. The skin of the pork belly and duck was crispy perfect while the meat was juicy and succulent. My husband got the General Tso chicken, and was probably hands down the best version of this dish we have had. Definitely will want to visit again and ask for the Dim Sum menu, assuming that was what we need to do.“

“The best fast Chinese restaurant near me (Lansing) my mom (Venice Fl) and my sister in Seattle WA. We love it. Mom passed but every visit she demanded it. Thank you for the good memories with my mom. 🥰“

“Great Chinese takeout. Last order I placed took 25 seconds on the phone for two people. Fast, efficient, friendly, and most importantly, damn good food. Highly recommended.
Vegetarian options: Some veg options, not a whole lot, but a decent selection.“

“This has been our Christmas Eve dinner tradition for many years now! The food is very good and the best part is there’s no MSG so we don’t get headaches or have other issues. Have not eaten inside the restaurant but seems to be a good place to eat with good service.“

“I had a long day that finished with a trip to the laundry mat. I was quite hungry so I decided to give Work and Roll a try. I'm glad I did! This was the best Sesame Chicken I have had in years! And having walked in and placed my order, it was cool to watch my meal being cooked even....no wonder it tastes fresh because it is! I highly recommend this place!“

“The food never disappoints! My husband and I always get the Hunan Chicken combo.. delicious! The lady (owner) who answers the phone and checks customers out is a sweetheart and very kind. I highly recommend! P.s.. the crab rangoons are amazing too!“

“Amazing food, and amazing service! I don't know what others are talking about. They even gave us free doughnuts, and they're good. Also, I was looking at the other reviews and just couldn't stop laughing. Someone said about the doughnuts being greasy... um they're not they're just fried like how doughnuts are usually made. You trust me because "I've been overseas" lol! Thank you guys!“

“Generally speaking, the food at Chen's is very good. I particularly enjoy their shrimp egg foo young and their fried wontons. Portions are a good size, and the cooks are conscientious of allergy concerns. My out-of-town friends like Chen's food, and this is where it becomes embarrassing. The restaurant interior is absolutely filthy - it is downright gross. For such a successful restaurant, there is absolutely no need for this. Indeed, the Health Department should be notified. This is a family business. The teen waitresses could use a tip in friendliness and manners, as well.“

“The soup looks like sink water but is the most flavorful, in a great way, broths I've ever had. Being from NY,I'm a Chinese food snob. For me to say this is a huge thumbs up. Their sesame chicken is delicious and their dumplings are the real deal.....not flimsy pot stickers.“

“Dropped into this little gem after the Rock and Mineral show at the fairgrounds. It was Saturday evening and we were looking for a sit down restaurant that could seat 11. The food that I and my boyfriend had was pretty great, and I didn't hear anyone else complaining. I had the Szechuan chicken combo with Hot sour soup and fried rice...all was very good. He had the Mongolian beef combo also very good. The hostess was very gracious and kind and the whole family left full and happy. You can't heat that.“

“First time to try this Chinese place and the food was good. We got several dishes including beef, chicken, fried rice with shrimps and an eggplant with garlic one. Personally, I loved the eggplant with garlic so good with rice. The beef with bell pepper and onions was so hot that it sizzles in the pan.“

“Good food and super fast as advertised! The chicken i got was labeled spicy, but i think that only applies if you’re polish or german or something… i would give it a 0.5/10 on the spicy meter… literally was sweet and sour chicken. Was GREAT… just …sweet.“

“Holy crap! I usually order a takeout combination plate from a nearby Chinese restaurant and am used to them, but I decided to try somewhere new and am not disappointed! We ordered chicken lo mein and a beef and broccoli (added mushrooms) combination plate. When I opened the containers of food, I was so amazed! The portion sizes were huge compared to the other place, I couldn't stop commenting on it haha. The food was hot and delicious and they have better egg rolls too. I will definitely order from Fortune House from now on!“

“Food was great and there was a lot of it for the price!I specifically wanted to say how much I loved the customer service. The gentleman working at the front was super friendly and accommodating. He noticed my niece was trying to use chopsticks for the first time and made some “easy” learning chopsticks for her. Above and beyond!“

“Hi, I’m surprised by the rating here so I wanted to come here and make sure it’s known, THIS FOOD IS ABSOLUTELY BOMB! They do an amazing job making your order just how you want, food is always fresh and HOT! The egg rolls are delicious, the crab Rangoon’s are just as great too! My kids love the orange chicken (can add you level of spice) and I love their spicy chicken w/vegetable’s. The fried rice is on point every time! Truly should be a 5 star .“

“Been sitting on this one for awhile! As we are big fans of Jimy’s on campus. But it’s the closest Chinese to home so we finally gave it a try. And WOW ?? have we wasted our time not getting this takeout!
Pork lo mein: wonderful! Moist, tender pieces of pork. Perfectly cooked noodle. Moist and very flavorful.
Mongolian Beef: when getting this dish you have to be okay with onions. And a lot of them! Thankfully we can handle the onion ? so much flavor! Thankful for a good sauce. This tops my list so far!
General Tso: this is the best general I’ve ever had! The sauce has reached perfection. Sweet and savory. Chicken was still crunchy in some spots. Others soaked the sauce up perfectly. This dish is done so well here!
Salt and Pepper Chicken: was a great addition to our normal order. Allowed for a nice break In all the flavors. Nice crackling pieces of fried chicken. Very good.
White Rice: shall I say perfection? Wonderful job.
CRAB RANGOONS: HANDSDOWN THE RANGOON IVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR! Crispy beautiful wrapper. Creamy, sweet and savory crab cream cheese center. Fried to absolute perfection.
Thank you China Garden for this fantastic, delicious meal! One I am so looking forward to having leftovers of.“

“I don't understand why this restaurant doesn't have better reviews. My husband and I were starving and heading back home. We weren't sure what was open with it being memorial day. I thought chinese sounded pretty good but I was worried because of the reviews. I'm SO SO glad we tried them, it was literally the best chinese food I have ever had! I didn't see anything I wanted on the menu so I asked if they could make chicken lo mein, my husband got sweet and sour chicken and we got two appetizers, crab rangoon and gyoza. My husband said his chicken was so big it looked like a corn dog ? Everything was so fresh and hot! I will eat my leftovers for dinner tonight. I'd give 10 stars if it were an option! We will definitely be back, thank you for the wonderful experience!“

“As others have mentioned, the portion sizes have gone down to almost half. You used to be able to order an entrée in its own tray container with a pint box of rice on the side. Now its all packed in the tray container, with no separate pint box. No more leftovers. Its a shame because the food is really good, but with the price of an entrée, you can just go to an Asian buffet and eat as much as you want“

“Generally has very good food, and a great variety. Prices are very reasonable as well. Senior lunch prices are under $10. They pretty much always have good seafood selections on the buffet. Also, there's a Mongolian style BBQ grill and a sushi bar included in the price. One of the best Chinese Buffets in Lansing area.
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. Large dessert line with soft serve ice cream and frozen yogurt machines.“
“Awesome food wonderful Asian cuisine with a new Asian food experience for my family and I. Very large sharable portions and nothing was over $18.50; Most items were priced between $10-$15.The only minor mishap we had was our waiter did not speak hardly any English so our questions could not be answered about the new foods we wanted to try. Luckily the online menu shows pictures of all their dishes and we had our phones so we could google everything to understand what the dishes were. The waiter was very nice though and did his best he could and we greatly appreciated it. The food was excellent and we will definitely be back again!!!!!
Vegetarian options: You can customize many dishes to your liking to make it a vegetarian meal
Kid-friendliness: They have several pool tables to keep kids entertained while waiting on your food.“
