Matys does is a very busy mostly takeout business. They do have tables and when we were there a few were eating in. As it was our first time we had chicken, lamb, couscous, red snapper, jollof rice and peanut soup. The red snapper is a favorite though ours was a little over cooked but I'd order it again. The lamb was grilled in pieces and me not a lamb lover liked it though it was a bit chewy. The jollof rice and chicken were fought over at our table so they liked those. This...read full review
The maafe (peanut stew) with chicken was incredibly good. We ordered some plantains and were told they were out, and then a few minutes later the young guy surprised with an order of plantains on the house. Fantastic service!
