The Crab Sports Bar Reviews
My husband and I ate here last night. Very nice spot! We had the stuffed lobster with crab. The lobster was tasty, but the stuffed crab was not good, it didn't taste like crab at all. A minor issue with our receipt, it wasn't itemize correctly; we had wine for $12, not a pepsi, and there was no gratuity put on the receipt.
The best food I had in Detroit when I visited. The service was immaculate, the food was great and the drinks where absolutely 10/10. I loved the staff and the owner was very welcoming to my husband, myself and our service dog. They allowed us to be there until night time with our service animal and we felt nothing but warm vibes and a service that will make me want to come back. GREAT, FOOD, DRINKS, BUSINESS AND AMBIANCE.
The Crab&Lobster Cakes were sooo Delicious!! The salmon with Chipotle sauce….OMG was so Good. Everything was so flavorful I didn’t need to add any salt, pepper, hot sauce…. Everything was seasoned perfectly!!!

Based on the reviews, The Crab Sports Bar offers a warm, lively dining room with a relaxed, chill vibe and a DJ that adds to the experience. The food is a major highlight, with the barbecue pork-chops being a standout—perfectly cooked medium-rare, tender and juicy, with a smoky, well-balanced glaze and a lovely crust. Other menu items like the all you can eat crab legs, Cajun dry wings, Alfredo with Salmon, Salmon on rice and broccoli, pasta, and catfish are also described as amazing, fresh, and seasoned well. The creamy mashed potatoes are a comfort food side, though they were sometimes served cold. The service is a standout, with staff described as bright, professional, attentive, and courteous. The general manager makes a point of introducing himself, adding a personal touch. However, some reviews note issues with drinks not being served and tables needing cleaning. Overall, it is a great spot for top-notch barbecue pork-chops, great customer service, and a friendly, well-managed vibe.
