“The Coconut Cream pie was fantastic and flavorful, made the way my mom would make a pie when I was growing up. The only takeaway that I can see is the thick crust at the edge of the pie, it's more of a personal preference for me , everything else shouts " Come back for more !!!!"

Wheelchair accessibility: It's a sidewalk entrance into the store. not really sure if it is wheelchair accessible, but for the pie I would sit outside and stare through the window !!“

“I stopped in for the first time to treat myself for my bday because one of my friends recommended this place. The owners were so nice, the store had a nice relaxing feeling and everything in the cases looked fresh, pretty & delicious. I bought a few things which included a lemon pound cake cookie and wow it has to be one of the best lemon cookies I’ve ever had! I’m glad I stopped in and recommend you stop in sometime too. “I saw Mr. Leslie on YouTube and when I got into Lansing from Atlanta for Thanksgiving he was my 1st stop!😄 You can't go wrong with any flavor...we had Lemon Drop, Strawberry, Cherry and Apple Pie and they were all delicious!! The personal sizes were big enough to cut into 1/4 bites so we could all have a some of each flavor.
He's a great guy and offers not just delicious cheesecakes but great customer service and he ships too. Looking forward to that new location in the Atlanta Airport Area please & thank you!!!😉😁“

There’s a large vegan community here on the west side that drive all the way to Okemos or East Lansing to accommodate their dietary restriction. “Dear Mitten Raised Bakery, Catering/Wedding - We worked with Katie to cater/deliver 160 cupcakes and a 8" cake for our wedding. We would 150% recommend Mitten Raised! Katie (owner) was amazing from the moment I inquired about her services (about 6 months prior) to when she delivered them with her team. We ended up getting strawberry shortcake and lemon drops in a cake cup, and shoreline and a marbled decorative cupcakes, They were all delicious and our guests are still raving about them. We also ordered a simple white cake for us to cut, and honestly it was one of my favorites - it was just the right amount of sweetness, flavor, and texture! Katie was also very responsive and sweet throughout multiple emails. I had to change the count and flavors multiple times, and she responded instantly and always in a friendly manner. We've also been into Mitten Raised for separate sweet-treat occasions, and it never disappoints! Please consider catering through Mitten Raised! We love their baked goods, professionality, and if we were to ever have a large event again - I would book them in a heartbeat.“

“I stopped in for the first time on Saturday afternoon. I bought two loaves of bread (cinnamon swirl & espresso chocolate chip) and two goodies - a peanut butter cookie and an almondine - I should NOT have done that, I should not have bought just one, I should have bought them ALL! They were amazing. The cookie and the breads are also fabulous! The cinnamon swirl makes AMAZING French toast! The owner gave me a tip of putting it in the freezer for about 15 minutes before slicing it and THEN making the French toast. It worked fantastically and it was SO good! The espresso chocolate chip just takes about 15 seconds in the microwave before you spread butter on it and eat it with your coffee.I don’t know why I have never stopped in here before, but now, this is where I will get my specialty breads. Unlike other places, he isn’t raising his prices through the roof, he is keeping the costs low for the customers. I also learned that all of the bread is made fresh each night and whatever doesn’t sell is donated to different organizations. This owner is someone that cares about his community and his customers and that was so refreshing to hear. It was great talking with him and the other employee that was there, I walked out of there feeling happy and excited to 1) try all my goodies, and 2) feeling like I had found a new treasure.I definitely recommend Breadsmith and will be going back as soon as we finish the what we have!“

“Great bundtlets, great customer service!!! Snickerdoodle is absolutely my favorite flavor, and the frosting is perfect not overly sweet at all. Red velvet and carrot are also great flavors to try out! If you plan on coming often make sure you ask for a punch card! Happy eating !!!“

It's a very impressive operation with state of the art systems and squeaky clean facilities. The bakery goods are wonderful. This is a good quality store I'd recommend to anyone especially travelers needing to resupply or get a meal to go .Plenty of snacks of all varietys and items people need everyday to survive .“

“Panera food is all the same usually but I asked for extra say e on my sandwich and I didn't get that. The survive was slow bur they were busy so not bad and the business building atmosphere is a strange one to be sure it's very busy so I wouldn't recommend studying but at off times if perfect I especially like the chairs by the window

Vegetarian options: The tomato soup is very good. I also like the medatranian sandwich, and the grilled cheese is always very good. If they have 10 vegetable soup, 100% get it!!! It's one of the best things they've had on their menu.“
