“Just tried calling to order a small breakfast for pick up. The girl that answered the call said they are too busy to take to go orders. Said I can call in 20 minutes for a lunch order. I didn't want lunch. I would have been happy to wait longer to pick it up bc I had some errands to run anyways. Also, I called at 1045. According to their website they were selling breakfast until noon. I've done customer service for years and waitressed a fair amount in that time. This isnt how you do it. I'm all for supporting small businesses as I have one myself but I probably won't be back.“

“This was my mom’s favorite spot.❤️🙏 It’s a nice place to get the family together to eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The host always greets me right away to get me seated. I love that they have a wide variety of pescatarian and vegetarian options. The bar is nice also!“

“Ordered the Green Power smoothie (with ginger) and the Dragon Blend smoothie. There’s no refined sugar, she used coconut milk (no water or ice to dilute it) and she had all the information on a laminated menu if you needed all the ingredients for food allergies or preferences. It was DELICIOUS!! Well priced for the quality! And the owner was the sweetest person 💕 10/10 recommend and I’ll be there again!“

“Locals are so happy to have Angela's downtown!!! Their menu items can easily be modified to accommodate diet restrictions or vegan/vegetarian diets, (which is so hard to find), and the substitution recommendations are wonderful! I will be eating here several morning a week.“

“Awesome food wonderful Asian cuisine with a new Asian food experience for my family and I. Very large sharable portions and nothing was over $18.50; Most items were priced between $10-$15.The only minor mishap we had was our waiter did not speak hardly any English so our questions could not be answered about the new foods we wanted to try. Luckily the online menu shows pictures of all their dishes and we had our phones so we could google everything to understand what the dishes were. The waiter was very nice though and did his best he could and we greatly appreciated it. The food was excellent and we will definitely be back again!!!!!

“Lovely little coffee shop! I enjoy their Westside location and am so glad to have a spot on the Eastside that is more convenient for me. The space is bright and welcoming, the baristas have always been friendly and helpful, and the staff has been very accommodating of my service dog and I. They even asked and provided him with a pup cup during our last visit! (To be clear, they are not a pet friendly business and only allow service animals per the ADA.) I typically order tea, though they have a nice selection of coffees and pastries as well. My only critique is that I wish they had more cozy, lounge-type seating, since right now they have mostly desks (although with plenty of outlets for online work). We've been here a few times already since they opened the Okemos location and will continue to visit often!“

“We ordered my son’s birthday cake from sweet encounter - he is gluten free and I was so happy to find a bakery that provided an amazing cake for him! They were able to make him a Fortnite themed cake and cupcakes from pictures I emailed. They were delicious! Definitely will order again. Thank you so so much!“

All staff I encountered and the owner were super nice, there was a nice selection of hot food and snacks, the prices were reasonable, and the portions were generous. I will definitely be back again. “Panera food is all the same usually but I asked for extra say e on my sandwich and I didn't get that. The survive was slow bur they were busy so not bad and the business building atmosphere is a strange one to be sure it's very busy so I wouldn't recommend studying but at off times if perfect I especially like the chairs by the window

Vegetarian options: The tomato soup is very good. I also like the medatranian sandwich, and the grilled cheese is always very good. If they have 10 vegetable soup, 100% get it!!! It's one of the best things they've had on their menu.“

“I've been stopping in here for 4 years now. I pass 2 Biggbys and a Starbucks, but I've always stayed loyal to this branch. Staff are always in a great mood, positive vibe in the store too. Always clean and I don't think they've ever been out of a drink I've asked for either. While the faces have changed a little in my time visiting here,the new ones are always just as kind and sincere as the last. I also visit this one mostly upon open,but am known to stop in at random times during the day if I need an extra " fix " to get me home.“

“I happened to notice the macarons today, while in Horrocks. I tried the cookies and cream and French vanilla and oh. my. word. These are literally the best macarons I have ever had, and I'm being absolutely serious! The vanilla one was the perfect cookie. The crunch, the sweetness, the smooth filling, everything about it was mouth wateringly delicious! As if I needed another reason to go into Horrocks haha! 10/10! Will definitely try more flavors next time.“

“Went here for a night out in the beautiful EL and was served by Ella. She went above and beyond by continually providing prompt service always with a smile on her face. Even when my close colleague was lying on the floor she continued to provide great assistance by gathering both waters and mozzarella sticks (10/10) for him. I have since chosen her as my godmother for my 2nd oldest and she has continued to provide amazing service for us all!“
