“I cannot stop raving about the cinnamon rolls and coffee here! The cinnamon rolls are absolute perfection soft, warm, and loaded with gooey cinnamon goodness. The coffee is smooth, rich, and pairs perfectly with every bite. I came with my friend and her young daughter, and the owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They even brought out toys to keep the little one happily occupied, which made our visit so relaxing and enjoyable. Amazing food, wonderful people, and a cozy atmosphere highly recommend!“

All staff I encountered and the owner were super nice, there was a nice selection of hot food and snacks, the prices were reasonable, and the portions were generous. I will definitely be back again. Hopefully, I can leave early enough to stop in for breakfast before work one of these days!“

“Lovely little coffee shop! I enjoy their Westside location and am so glad to have a spot on the Eastside that is more convenient for me. The space is bright and welcoming, the baristas have always been friendly and helpful, and the staff has been very accommodating of my service dog and I. They even asked and provided him with a pup cup during our last visit! (To be clear, they are not a pet friendly business and only allow service animals per the ADA.) I typically order tea, though they have a nice selection of coffees and pastries as well. My only critique is that I wish they had more cozy, lounge-type seating, since right now they have mostly desks (although with plenty of outlets for online work). We've been here a few times already since they opened the Okemos location and will continue to visit often!“

“I am a chef who came in with my wife... critiquing this place doesn't exactly sit right with me, because they have done an overall fantastic job...so let's start there..first off the music played that day was absolute perfection for the time, and number of people inside. The person taking care of us went out of her way to make me something not offered on the menu. The decor was warm and clean...I was wondering how it would be if they were really busy...about those issues though...having water already on the table is ok, but put it in a decanter you can't see the minerals through, shot glasses are not glasses..and she gave me ice cold syrup for the waffle I ordered.....other than that FANTASTIC...my wife and I enjoyed being there and WILL RETURN“

“I've been stopping in here for 4 years now. I pass 2 Biggbys and a Starbucks, but I've always stayed loyal to this branch. Staff are always in a great mood, positive vibe in the store too. Always clean and I don't think they've ever been out of a drink I've asked for either. While the faces have changed a little in my time visiting here,the new ones are always just as kind and sincere as the last. I also visit this one mostly upon open,but am known to stop in at random times during the day if I need an extra " fix " to get me home.“

“I happened to notice the macarons today, while in Horrocks. I tried the cookies and cream and French vanilla and oh. my. word. These are literally the best macarons I have ever had, and I'm being absolutely serious! The vanilla one was the perfect cookie. The crunch, the sweetness, the smooth filling, everything about it was mouth wateringly delicious! As if I needed another reason to go into Horrocks haha! 10/10! Will definitely try more flavors next time.“

“Went here for a night out in the beautiful EL and was served by Ella. She went above and beyond by continually providing prompt service always with a smile on her face. Even when my close colleague was lying on the floor she continued to provide great assistance by gathering both waters and mozzarella sticks (10/10) for him. I have since chosen her as my godmother for my 2nd oldest and she has continued to provide amazing service for us all!“

“Twice now I have ordered and the soup just seems to be thrown in the bag. Used to put them into holders so they wouldn't spill. Twice now we have lost 1 soup each time...soup spilled and bag ripped. Makes me wonder why I keep going here. Need to rethink this.“

“Just tried calling to order a small breakfast for pick up. The girl that answered the call said they are too busy to take to go orders. Said I can call in 20 minutes for a lunch order. I didn't want lunch. I would have been happy to wait longer to pick it up bc I had some errands to run anyways. Also, I called at 1045. According to their website they were selling breakfast until noon. I've done customer service for years and waitressed a fair amount in that time. This isnt how you do it. I'm all for supporting small businesses as I have one myself but I probably won't be back.“
