“Had the brisket and avocado sandwich, tasted great. Today's meal was ok, we both I ordered burgers medium, they were over cooked. Mine was supposed to have caramelized onions, they were not caramelized at all and very stringy almost like the exterior layer had not been removed.“

Any food anyone orders in our group comes out fresh and hot. Some favorites from our group include the sliders, poutine and they have sweet potato fries! “Sam Hill on Jackson Road in Ann Arbor is a really fun spot with a lot of character.

The menu was extensive, the food was pretty good, and the restaurant itself has a really neat look and feel. The outdoor space is fantastic, with live music, cornhole, games, and plenty of room to hang out. It feels like the kind of place that works just as well for dinner as it does for meeting friends, bringing family, or enjoying a summer evening outside.

They also have some interesting indoor spaces and rooms that seem like they would be great for events or private gatherings.

My only complaint is that nobody could tell me why the horse has seven legs. I still need answers on that.

Overall, we enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back. A very fun atmosphere, and a unique venue on the west side of Ann Arbor.“

“Jackie is the best server!! If I lived closer I would be a regular at this spot and want her every time! She was so on top of everything, making sure we had drinks if they were almost empty, making sure we got our food in before last call. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place! “A very popular location, good luck getting a seat if you arrive later in the night. They move the line for drinks along incredibly fast, don't be intimidated. Prices are quite reasonable for a nice draft beer. Young and energetic scene but some of everything in the crowd. Good beer, make some friends due to close proximity.“
