“Dexter Pub is the best. I’ve been going there since I was a kid, and I go there with my parents a lot. The food is amazing and Peter is just the nicest guy. It’s the best place in Dexter to get food.

Edit 11/2/24: my husband, son, and I went to the Pub after trick-or-treating on Halloween and the hostess was extremely rude. When she sat us to our seats, she slammed the menus on the table, gave me a dirty look, and said “here you go.” I won’t change my rating, only because we like Pete and we eat there all the time. But that hostess needs a serious attitude adjustment or I will have to say something next time she’s rude.“

“No restaurant is 5 stars. However, as an avid traveler, foodie, and amateur chef, I would say this place is decently better than a 4.2 rating. I’d say 4.6+. Therefore, I’m rating it a 5 to bring the average up. I’m picky. This is a family run, Mom and Pop, old school Chinese restaurant despite the usual name. Their son said it was a literal translation of an eatery, or something. Great flavor, quality, and cuts of meat. They do a healthy takeout business, but no one seems to dine in. Accurate. Prompt. However, their dining room is immaculate! I love eating there. Always wide open. Tasteful and comfortable! Our small towns of Dexter, Chelsea, Scio, etc., are so fortunate to have an old school place like this 5-10 minutes from our rural homes without venturing into Ann Arbor. I hope you support them! “This was our first time visiting The Chop House. We wanted to do something special. The ambiance was perfect, with soft lighting and the beautiful art on the walls. We started wirh a glass of riesling and the cheese plate, and loved both. My fiance and I both ordered the Dry Aged NY strip steak, and we both agreed it was the best steak we had ever tasted in our lives. The service was phenomenal. Very attentive, knowledgeable, friendly staff. This restaurant is a bit of a splurge, but so, so worth it. We will absolutely come back.“

“This is a 5 star restaurant serving 2 star martinis. The glasses are not chilled nor do they have a stem to keep your warm hand off the bowl of the drink. A better glass would enhance the experience for us martini lovers and complement the food!“

“My go to breakfast spot closed (Angelo's in Ann Arbor) and I've been trying to find somewhere in dexter or pinkney and have been so disappointed. I've tried them ALL and this was my last place to try! I took my 92 year old grandpa in and we were both so impressed! The atmosphere was great, nostalgic for grandpa! The food was phenomenal. Prices were better than other local establishments for much better food. They were jam packed and we still got our food pretty quick. I can't wait to go back! Make sure you get the American fries for breakfast. Haven't had anything comparable to those anywhere.“

“This is my new favorite restaurant in Ann Arbor. We had a group of 9 for my birthday, including 2 young kids. I love Korean food, and this is the best I've ever had. The quality of every single item was outstanding, but what takes the prize is the Korean fried chicken. So scrumptious it melts off the bone. Our server Alex was friendly, attentive, and patient. The vibe is very trendy, but it's still welcoming to families. Loud enough that we didn't feel awkward or disruptive with the kids. We will definitely return.

“This is easily the best Chinese food takeout in the area. It’s consistently on-time, delicious, with huge portions at an affordable price. I haven’t found something I don’t like at Happy Wok! I love going here, it’s our favorite takeout place. We always get the General Tso Chicken, the sweet and sour chicken, and the crab rangoons. I highly recommend!

“Good place to eat and get a beer. Anthony was our server and did a good job. My artichoke dip came out without the dip but Anthony quickly fixed it. And it was really good. The girl at the door seating everyone seemed really odd. I told her we needed two seats. She grabbed the menues and silverware. We followed her to our table. She put the items on the table and left without saying a single word to us. I usually expect them to say follow me or tell me who will be our server. She didn’t say a word. Seemed mad. But it is a beer and burger place. Maybe I expect too much of people.“

“I am a huge Zingerman’s Bakehouse fan. The bread, especially the pecan cranberry, the weekend donuts (save some for me), scones, pie ( especially rhubarb), cinnamon rolls and cupcakes!!! Oh and did I mention the people who work there? If the baked goods weren’t so delicious I’d go there just to say hello to the friendly, lovely people who work there! With this shop, you get both: Fab food and fab people!!!!!“

Toilets are equipped with Toto Washlet bidets. Large vanity with with sinks that actually drain! Very happy with the Restaurant that offers live music on weekends. “My work has ordered many times from Alpha Coney. Today we place a order for 4 lunches for pick up. Today they decided to charge a 20% large party fee. They never have done that in the past. We just got lunch from the restaurant last week and our bill was over $50. No fees then! You have lost our business!!! We will be supporting other businesses in the area!“

“I've been going to Momo's for years, and I absolutely love it. I always get the sushi burritos. My personal favorites are the Momo Burrito and the Dragon Burrito. I picked up my order this time, but if you're dining at the restaurant, I would definitely recommend getting the firecracker appetizer (think sushi jalapeño popper) and a kettle of one of their teas. Honestly, I cannot recommend Momo's enough.“
