“Dexter Pub is the best. I’ve been going there since I was a kid, and I go there with my parents a lot. The food is amazing and Peter is just the nicest guy. It’s the best place in Dexter to get food.

Edit 11/2/24: my husband, son, and I went to the Pub after trick-or-treating on Halloween and the hostess was extremely rude. When she sat us to our seats, she slammed the menus on the table, gave me a dirty look, and said “here you go.” I won’t change my rating, only because we like Pete and we eat there all the time. But that hostess needs a serious attitude adjustment or I will have to say something next time she’s rude.“

“I grew up in the greater New York City area, where we have some of the greatest food on the planet. I will tell you that when it comes to Chinese food, this restaurant did not disappoint. The food is outstanding! The restaurant is clean and the service is good. I do need to tell you, however, that you may encounter a language barrier, so be aware of that particularly when it comes to discussing your order. This place is authentic in every way! By the way, the lunch menu is outstanding, and the prices are unbelievably affordable.“

“Very much on the expensive side for what it is, but love the flavors that are being put together here. Build your own bowl ends up kinda like bibimbap but without a hot stone, also they forgot my fried egg and ended up making it later and also giving me free fried chickpeas which were incredible. The gochujang sauce is so good“

“This was our first time visiting The Chop House. We wanted to do something special. The ambiance was perfect, with soft lighting and the beautiful art on the walls. We started wirh a glass of riesling and the cheese plate, and loved both. My fiance and I both ordered the Dry Aged NY strip steak, and we both agreed it was the best steak we had ever tasted in our lives. The service was phenomenal. Very attentive, knowledgeable, friendly staff. This restaurant is a bit of a splurge, but so, so worth it. We will absolutely come back.“

“My go to breakfast spot closed (Angelo's in Ann Arbor) and I've been trying to find somewhere in dexter or pinkney and have been so disappointed. I've tried them ALL and this was my last place to try! I took my 92 year old grandpa in and we were both so impressed! The atmosphere was great, nostalgic for grandpa! The food was phenomenal. Prices were better than other local establishments for much better food. They were jam packed and we still got our food pretty quick. I can't wait to go back! Make sure you get the American fries for breakfast. Haven't had anything comparable to those anywhere.“

“This is a 5 star restaurant serving 2 star martinis. The glasses are not chilled nor do they have a stem to keep your warm hand off the bowl of the drink. A better glass would enhance the experience for us martini lovers and complement the food!“

Come here, they give kids cute plastic cups so you don’t have to worry about them breaking a glass one. Would I come back? Wish I could, but I’m only in Michigan for vacation. Salmon rolls were amazing, pretty sure they came in about 5 minutes or so. So cute, they put them in a flower shape.“

The girl at the door seating everyone seemed really odd. I told her we needed two seats. She grabbed the menues and silverware. We followed her to our table. She put the items on the table and left without saying a single word to us. I usually expect them to say follow me or tell me who will be our server. She didn’t say a word. Seemed mad. But it is a beer and burger place. Maybe I expect too much of people.“

“Best Chinese food in Ann Arbor - Hands down!!! Been coming here for years. New owners now. It was good before, but now it’s GREAT. We moved to Saline 6 years ago and there are 3 Chinese restaurants in Saline. I still drive to town to get Happy Wok because it’s just that good!! All the traditional dishes. Today it was Singapore rice noodles and Lo Mein. Delicious as always. They never disappoint. Seasoning just right, huge portions, very friendly service. This will be your new favorite joint for Chinese food.“
