4 Best Craft Breweries near Douglas

Saugatuck Brewing Company Brewery • $$
2948 Blue Star Hwy, Douglas

“We had a late lunch at Saugatuck Brewing Co. during the week- so I can not fully speak to atmosphere and service. However, our server was great. The food was delicious (I had the Cali Rueben and my husband had the chicken shawarma). Our beer flights were great too. You get a generous six 5 oz pours. I liked all my selections with the Vienna being my favorite. I would definitely return if we are in the area again.“

Waypost Brewing Co. Brewery • $$
1630 Blue Star Hwy, Fennville - 7.37 miles

“We stayed at Waypost Brewing as part of our Harvest Host membership (overnight RV parking). Plenty of room for that... and a great outdoor seating area! There were plenty of tables and games (cornhole). It was cold the day we were there so we didn't sit outside for long.I know it's a brewery (I'm not a beer drinker) but they didn't offer any other beverage choices (hard cider, wine, seltzers). All in all a great stop (kind of off the beaten path)... go if you're in the area!“

The Mitten Brewing Company Brewery • $$
329 Water St, Saugatuck - 0.98 miles

“Came here for a drink a couple of times. They have a big picnic-table area setup in the yard, made for an enjoyable place to go have beers and appetizers. We got a Big Show pretzel, which was tasty and came with three sauces of our choosing. The tavern cheese (beer cheese) was by far the best sauce. The beer was tasty though not the best we've had. Still it was good. I lucked out and came on a day when they had a sour beer on tap, and it was pretty fantastic. The next time just a couple of days later and it was sadly unavailable. The Black Betsy Coffee Stout was decent, maybe a little heavy for the hot summer day we had, but that's on me not them.Good little place for a drink on a hot day.Edit: Good to see this place is still around! Stop in here every time I'm in Saugatuck. Thanks Mitten!“
