“When we moved to the East side from Dearborn we were trying to find a good place for our middle eastern favorites. This is it! The feast for two is amazing and so are the grape leaves. The kafta and tawook are delicious, the shawarma and kabobs are pretty good too. We will 100% be back soon!“

“I went to the Middle Eats on Eureka Rd in Southgate after the gym. My doctor put me a pretty restrictive diet due to my diabetes. I admit I was kind of apprehensive walking in because it’s been a real chore to stick to it when I have to eat out. I walked in and a young lady named Kayla R was at the counter. I apologized to her saying I need to ask questions about my order and I’m on dietary restrictions. She was incredibly nice and understanding. She asked me what I could and couldn’t eat and even made suggestions on how to make my meal that would comply to the restrictions. She even said she could make a phone call to find the exact ingredients of the sauce if I wanted her to. I was so impressed. In the end I got a bowl that complied to the dietary restrictions and it was very good. The other employees were also making suggestions and when I apologized for being a pain they all said they were happy to help. This wasn’t my first time there and it definitely won’t be my last. I can’t express my gratitude on how they all went totally out of their way to accommodate me. Thank you Kayla and staff!“

“This has to be one of the best and most authentic Iraqi and Middle Eastern spots in Sterling Heights. The place has a cozy, quiet atmosphere with a small dining area that gives off a nostalgic Iraqi vibe.

Even though we arrived close to closing time, the staff member there provided outstanding hospitality and customer service. The kebabs are a must-try—the flavor is absolutely incredible 🔥

For the quality and portion size, the pricing is very fair (around $15-$20 per person). I’ll definitely be coming back again, and next time with more friends!“

“Middle Eats Roseville catered my daughter’s graduation party for 130 people this past weekend. The amount of food we got was insane along with all of the serving utensils, eating utensils, napkins and bowls to serve it all in.(I wish I would have taken photos) Every attendee raved about how good the food was and inquired about where it was from, and many of them were lucky enough to take a carry out) I sure hope Middle Eats gets more catering jobs and customers from this because they deserve it!! We heard mix reviews from our friends and family but honestly we didn't taste anything better than this place in michigan. For the buffet they had various options to choose from and the price was really affordable. We tried the best zilabi on town. My picky eater son finished everything which means it's really good. “Went here for the first time with my daughter, who is a coffee aficionado. We both loved the decor of the place. It’s quite beautiful and the menu offers so much variety that I wasn’t familiar with, I know I’ll be back. Our coffees were unique, and the pastries were tasty. I’ve seen others complain about the price but we paid about $20 for two coffees two pastries and that includes a tip. I don’t think that’s unreasonable in today’s world and it’s so much better than chain coffee shops.“

“Came in for the first time with a major pregnancy craving for some Lamb Shawarma. The gentleman behind the counter was incredibly kind and helpful, double checking how much spice I wanted, and letting me know it would take about 15 minutes as it’s made fresh. Took the food home and everything was absolutely delicious! The lamb was tender and well marinaded, the seasoning was flavorful, and the vegetables and garlic sauce complemented everything wonderfully. Between the great service and quality, I will definitely be back again for this hidden gem!“

“Not only is the food amazing, but the service here is unparalleled. Through a mistake of my own, my order was actually not placed when I thought it was. Even after figuring out it was my fault the wonderful staff here rushed my order through very fast, and were apologizing to me even though it was my fault. That’s not the type of service you get just anywhere. And the food? The Chicken Mandi was literally “fall off the bone” tender. The rice was cooked to perfection and you can tell their sauces are made fresh and in house. All of this for the most reasonably priced middle eastern food around. Their prices were a bit high but I found out later that their prices fell in the normal range for what everyone bis charging. Place was good size and would fit 200 people comfortably.“
