“The carne asada was tender and flavorful but not salty-perfectly made. The jalapeños are a beautiful touch to the tortas (had mine without sour cream and added mayo instead). Lastly, the fresh water (agua Fresca) was delicious and I was even given the option to mix lime & chia flavor with the cucumber lime flavor 🍋‍🟩. I will definitely be back to eat! “We stopped by on our way through town because Mexican food sounded good. We were blown away by the quality of the food and the friendly staff. The salsa was incredible and all the food we ordered was delicious. Our server made a genuine effort to engage us in conversation and showed genuine interest in what we talked about. The only negative thing I can say is that Melendez Imports is too far away from home to eat there in a regular basis.“
