“Fun place. Pool,darts and reasonable drinks. Bartender was really cool. DJ was just ok and I’d probably give 5 stars if I didn’t lose over 10 songs in the jukebox that they killed when the DJ started. Fun place, definitely recommend“
“I loved this small venue just outside of Detroit! The food was pretty much your basic bar stuff, but they had some pretty cool beer choices. I actually ordered some ice cream nachos just for the experience of it. Loved the bands and the vibe. The bathrooms were clean, and the staff was cool.“

“Legendary neighborhood bar, great picture of vanishing way of life. Plenty of space for welcoming a tour bus, plenty of intimacy to relax for a couple of hours. We visited the cigar room which has some amazing artifacts of century+ of its existence. No food but up to date drink menu, including NA beers and liquor.“
“6/20/13 update: Went back. It was nice. Friendly. I was the only one under 60, but I got into a social security debate with some elderly gentlemen over some Milwaukee's Best. Anyone who tells you this place is "scary" or "in a bad part of town" needs to be euthanized.“
“This is my favorite dive bar of all time. The only negative is that it's a VERY small place, but that adds to the character. Knowledgeable and friendly bar service, great selection of music, incredible prices. You gotta be there on a Saturday night.“
“The staff is very friendly and personable. They will have a conversation with you when time allows. The food is great and the the prices for everything they offer are reasonable. Good deals on their daily specials of food. Thursday night at 9 pm they have karioki.They have plenty of table seats, bar seats, an ATM, a pool table, jukebox, darts, Kino, lottery tickets, pulltabs, and a wide selection of beer and liquors, including draft beers. They also offer some wines. I recommend checking the place out, either with friends or alone, I doubt you'll feel lonely.“

If you are lucky, you might even see little Darla hanging around and get an opportunity to say hi to the Temple's most unique bar patronWe found overserves back at Temple after our bus blew right by our stop last night (thanks DDOT). Our bartender was so friendly to us in light of our predicament that she kept tabs on when the next bus was supposed to be by. “So I've been here many times and it's had different names over the years, but it's a little smooth spot, never any drama. The game changer and what got the 5 star rating is the food and drinks! The top shelf long Island I had was so good and the perfect size and the food was 10/10 expensive but worth the money. Good quality and fresh.“
