“We come to Flat Rock once, if not twice every week! Had never had a bad experience. Last night we had a new (to us) server, Hector and he was PHENOMENAL! He was extremely nice, checked on us numerous times, just an amazing guy who clearly loves his job. It was our son’s birthday and Hector brought him out dessert with a candle fully ready to sing to him. Thank you again Flat Rock for the amazing time, and Hector for being so amazing with our kiddo and making his day special!”

When they noticed cheese on my sandwich (which I don’t eat), they didn’t just send it out the window……they made me a fresh one. 🥹 That may not sound huge, but more often than not, other places just hand it over without noticing or caring. “My gosh I haven’t been in a subway in probably 4 years. Stopped into this subway for some lunch during the garage sale. Brandon made our sandwiches and they were awesome. But even better was the up beat personal customer service. It’s not often in 2025 you find people that genuinely want to connect and be apart of the community they serve. This guy is a 5 star employee! Keep up the good work, I’ll be back!”

“Well, they've renovated it again and taken away even more seats... and the pop machine. It gets smaller inside after every reno. One more reno, and we'll have to sit outside or in the bathroom. Only three tables left at the front and a couple by the bathroom; getting closterphobic. Also lost the sweet round family table... should have invested in a floor cleaner so the floors weren't so damn slippery...very disappointed.”

“got the soft shell tacos yesterday. Glad they fixed the flavorless meat problem. These tacos were really good. Wait time was not too long at the drive thru. Some at Taco bell is working to fix the problems at this store and I just want to say thank you so much. I was even impressed by the fact that we got more meat and less lettuce. No one wants a taco with loads of lettuce and no meat in it . any way great job to whom ever is running the store. Your doing a great job. Thanks again , I am a happy customer.”

“I was traveling for work and was looking for a local place to eat and get a cold snack. I found the Flippin Cow was about a mile from my hotel.

Small place with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff were pretty friendly and attentive. Typical variety of off the shelf cold snacks but they also offered some of thier own speciality drinks.

Typically type of menu items for this type of establishment but let me tell you... the cook know how to properly cook a flavorful smash burger. I was so impressed that I went back 2 more times during my stay in Elkhart.

If you want a fantastic smash burger without all the franchise noise and distractions... Flipping Cow is your place to go... just don't tell all of your friends... I still want to be able to get a seat when I stop by there next time.”

“OUTSTANDING! There needs to be more of these!!!! (Berrien County Michigan would be a great place to put another one). ;) Our first time here and we were greated with smiles, the staff graciously explained the menu and how it works, while making sure you felt welcome! The food was quick and delicious! The playing of the Nation Anthem at 12:00 sealed the deal for me. The atmosphere was one to be remembered for sure! This is a shining spot in the community and as I said at the beginning, we need more of them! Bravo Mission BBQ you knocked it out of the park!!!”

“I have been here many times in the past 8 months since discovering (here) that I do like beer. This is the only place I have seen locally that updates their draft selections daily and the guys that run it ARE INCREDIBLE. We have had multiple experiences with each but tonight was not expected at all. They went wayyy farther than above and beyond for our pizza order and we will, and our 1st time amazed by this happening guest, 1000% be back as much as possible to support such great people!
