“Four of us had the 3 piece dusted perch dinner and the other had 3 piece pollack dinner. House salads or Cole slaw and a cup of chowder. Dinner was great as always. Drinks are a great a price. Service is always awesome. Kudos to all the staff. Summers coming and us locals will have a hard time getting a seat“

“Larry was one of the nicest people we met. Here we were out of gas in our vehicle, a friend lost in the woods and it was after he had closed down shop. Not only did larry say he would stay open for us to get fuel he offered to bring us some if we ran out trying to get to his store. “When pondering places to go and looking at reviews, it was hard to pass up Pine Squirrel. It felt wrong not to go to a place with this name when visiting Gaylord. It was a fairly busy bar atmosphere and albeit home to a good handful of regulars. The wait staff was friendly, helpful and on top of their game. We tried the taco salad and chicken fingers for food. Kept it simple and basic for our first visit. Both were good and hit the spot. The ranch is homemade and definitely was a determining factor on my ordering.“

“We had such a fun time here over Christmas - New Year's break. There were 5 kids and 5 adults with us. We all enjoyed sking, and there were trails for everyone. We also did the tubing. We rented it for an hour and that was the perfect amount of time for us. Staff was friendly and there are many shops and restaurants around the close area, which of course restaurants were take out only at the time. Beautiful area!“

“how have I not been here before? Such a fun warm up or lunch spot. we took Hemlock lift to get there, but it is SLOW! Still fun to see the view on the way down, however no skis allowed on it in 2023, we left ours at the bottom. Eagles nest is very casual, decent food, awesome view. Nice drink selection.“

“Just in Boyne for the week and came here twice! The pizza and cheese bread is SO GOOD and even better than the pizza is the ranch. One of the people we were with went back and bought three containers of it.The first time we went, they were pretty busy so service wasn't as attentive but still good, and then the second time, it was less packed and the service was amazing.You must visit here!!
