“I discovered this bakery at the Ann Arbor Farmer's Market and their bagels are absolutely the best I have ever had, and I frequently eat bagels. I got their everything flavored bagels and they are smothered in delicious everything seasoning and so flavorful! I love the chewiness they have from being sourdough. Truly an art. I can't wait to try more of their unique flavors. I also loved their chili crisp cream cheese, what a treat!“

“First time here and I didn’t realize I came in 9 minutes before closing time. By the time I realized because no one was at the register I was ready to walk out until someone came and said he’ll take our order. Was super sweet and nice of the company to take our order when they already packed everything and started cleaning. He even gave us fresh bagels and the bagel was amazing ! “I’ve been coming to this place for years, so I’m kind of shocked that I have never reviewed it before now.
I am a huge bagel fan and these are probably the best bagels in the Detroit area. Today I had my “go to” item - an everything bagel i with lox spread. It was excellent, as always! The lox spread here is different than most places - this isn’t just pink cream cheese that has a vague flavor of salmon - it has substantial pieces of lox right in it! The menu also covers a lot of other territory. My wife was interested in the cheese steak wrap but doesn’t eat a lot of beef, so they were able to substitute some grilled chicken in for her and it was great!“

“If you want an outstanding bagel, you MUST try New York Bagel. I walked in and was greeted with such friendly energy from the lady at the cash register. Fresh Parmesan bagels were coming right out of the oven, so of course I couldn’t pass them up. How fantastic. Crunchy outside, soft steamy inside, most delicious flavor. And for a mind blowing price. Overall amazing establishment and I will absolutely return here for more bagels.“

“I’ve been driving past this place everyday for the last year and just recently stopped in and haven’t stopped since. I am always greeted when I walk in and the women are super helpful. My first time she explained the entire menu to me and all the options. Even told me what bagels just came out of the oven. And when I tell you it was UNREAL I mean it! Egg and sausage sandwich on Asiago was so fresh and so tasty. I’ve gone a handful of times since and ever single time I walk out in a better mood. Elaine’s has amazing bagels and their hazelnut coffee is unmatched. You got yourself a regular. I recommend this place to anyone!“

“This was my first Einstein bagel experience and it was great. Very affordable and they had a lot of deals! I only remembered to take a picture of my muffin but the breakfast bagel and lunch bagel was great! The coffee was amazing too. A++ to the nice staff.“
