“If you want an outstanding bagel, you MUST try New York Bagel. I walked in and was greeted with such friendly energy from the lady at the cash register. Fresh Parmesan bagels were coming right out of the oven, so of course I couldn’t pass them up. How fantastic. Crunchy outside, soft steamy inside, most delicious flavor. And for a mind blowing price. Overall amazing establishment and I will absolutely return here for more bagels.“

“I placed a catering order with Jersey Bagel over the phone for an early Sunday morning pickup, and the entire experience was seamless. When I arrived, Natalie was already there and had everything prepped and ready to go. She wheeled the order out to my car, and the presentation was great. Natalie was super friendly and easy to work with. I highly recommend their catering service for any holidays or events!!! Reliable, well-organized, and delicious!“

“I came in today to order my favorite sandwich the maplehouse and like always. The service was excellent. The staff were very polite well oriented. Especially the young man manager. I remember the visit I had with my friend last week when a rude and very disrespectful customer came in and started getting upset with the manager taking his order. All the manager did was ask him what could he get for him after greeting him into the building. And the guy just lost it. The manager was trying to calm the guys down and get him to leave but he was too hot headed and refused. He cursed at the manager and left outside the building. He returned and told the manager that he wouldn't treat me and my friend that way because we were white. I as well as my friend were appalled and offended that he would even say something so silly and make the interaction a racial issue when indeed it wasn't. As me and my friend were about to leave the manger said to the guy he would call the police if he doesn't leave because he's scaring the customers with the negativity. So the guy decided to leave once and for all. Before I left I apologize to the young manager that he had to deal with someone like that and to not let one bad encounter ruin his day. He was doing a great job and to keep it up.“

This is the Lawrence Tech. Location. It is open for students and staff during the day and is separate from the Southfield road location. Moreover, the staff here always goes above and beyond for me and my sidekick. I can not say I have had a more positive experience in any other local coffee shop. It is hard to find educated genuine staff that is respectful of people with disabilities. “I’ve been driving past this place everyday for the last year and just recently stopped in and haven’t stopped since. I am always greeted when I walk in and the women are super helpful. My first time she explained the entire menu to me and all the options. Even told me what bagels just came out of the oven. And when I tell you it was UNREAL I mean it! Egg and sausage sandwich on Asiago was so fresh and so tasty. I’ve gone a handful of times since and ever single time I walk out in a better mood. Elaine’s has amazing bagels and their hazelnut coffee is unmatched. You got yourself a regular. I recommend this place to anyone!“

“Stopped in today while I was in the area. Been wanting some fresh “homemade” bagels. Got my husband a sausage egg and chz bagel and he loved it. Got my self 2 bagels and cream cheese and got 2 dog bagels. Everything was good and reasonably priced. Will be stopping back by whenever I’m in the area again.“
