“Dude's BBQ is sick. He hooks it up with extra sides too. However, it's first come, first serve. So you might be standing in line for 30 minutes with 15 other people, get up there to order and whatever you wanted is sold out. If there's huge line, i don't even bother anymore. It's only open like one day a week now, maybe two if you're lucky lol.“

“Hands down best steak taco/burrito I've ever eaten. It's worth venturing to. It's pretty inexpensive too. Spanish is spoken and cash only. It's easy to miss because it's in the parking lot behind tall fences that say farmers market right on the corner of Livernois and Toledo street.“

“Got the pollo tacos and they were incredible. Not too salty, and very generous portion of meat. Loved the cilantro and onion. They were ready immediately and tasted so fresh. The staff were very friendly too. Only $3.00 per taco, very reasonably priced. I will definitely be back. Some of the best tacos I’ve had in Detroit.“

“I got their Algotti's Cheesesteak.

First of all, the quality of the meat was very good. It was not some lean protein, but nice, moist, and tasty.

Cheese mix, was nothing overpowering and just great melty cheeses that went great for th sandwich.

There is an option for cherry peppers for a spice kick. Which I went for and liked.

It was a good sandwich. A very good sandwich.

The only room for improvement is maybe the choice of sub bread. The sub bread was nice and mild, not competing with the fillers at all for flavour. Makes the steak and cheese shine ahead. The only semi complaint is that it was really quick to collapse and go soggy.

Still, I loved it very much! Just eat the sandwich soon after you ordered it for the sake of that bread. Dont drive off too far before eating it!“

Whenever we go to a different city, I always try to find at least 1 new plant based dish to try. I try to pick a smaller business and a place that has something unique. Detroit area has some outstanding choices for plant based food - more than a lot of cities. I would recommend More Life Foods as a top choice for a vegan, vegetarian, or an omni. I'm going to try to convince the boyfriend to swing through on the way back to Ohio so I can get another gyro.“
