“Great destination for a family evening outside. Loved the outdoor seating in the back, complete with picnic tables, shade trees, a playground and a bags game. Yes, the portions are huge, but I would have preferred for the ice cream to be unique and not Hudsonville brand, which you can find at grocery stores. Also, they really need to up their napkin game considering the amount of dripping that ice cream cones do in the summer. We had to get real napkins out of our car because their thin, tiny napkins just weren't cutting it. But overall, we were really happy we found this place because it was more than just an ice cream run—it was a family experience.”

“first time experience that burger was the beat ive had perfectly cooked condiments fresh cheese rich and smooth not greasy or anything the fries were small and stringy not usually how i like em but they are now perfectly cooked not a single burnt one the mikey sauce was smooth and a good addition to the fries they checked on us and asked how our meal was and i reqlly appreciated the hospitality”

“I’m so glad we found this place! I did a quick search for the best brekkie in Grand Haven place & this popped up. Parking was easy and we could tell we’d made the right choice the second we opened the door. It was packed with happy customers. We were seated at the bar as the tables were full. Our server was lovely & our drinks delivered almost right away. I ordered the savoury crepes & Chris ordered the Cadillac omelette. Both were delicious! The small bowl of fruit with mine was a great way to finish the meal. The restaurant decor is fun and homely. Absolutely recommend!”

“The best appetizers and best mushroom soup I’ve ever had at a sushi place! Japanese Rangoons are decadent, edamame is steamed and salted perfectly every time. Sushi for two is beautiful and amazing! “Had an awesome time Saturday, 3-1-25. Haven't been back to Herbie's in almost 20 years. Had a waitress that actually remembered my mother my father from when we used to meet there with our youngest daughter. Waitress and I apologize I forgot your name, you were outstanding, caring, and bubbly. She's been a waitress there for 25 years. A lot of the wait staff and staff had tie dye shirts with a logo on the back. Those were cute. Had the steak and eggs, American fries, Texas toast, coffee. Everything was excellent. The wife had standard two eggs bacon and toast. They've had to recently upcharge $0.50 per egg, like a lot of restaurants are because of the new price increase with the bird flu. Still, excellent money for the value that we got. Plenty of portions. Will try to go back soon, hopefully not as long as 20 years. The decor is quaint with airplane memorabilia hanging from the ceilings the walls and posters. Don home folk down home food downhome good time down home great value.”

“On a weekend getaway we had dinner here, and when I say that the food was delicious believe me! The owner made us feel special with her humble kindness and genuine attention. Not only was she hands on our waitress was very instrumental on helping us decide on what to eat. If you ever go to Muskegon or if your passing by please stop you will not be disappointed. “Simple, delicious ice cream experience. The first time I went, my cup wasn't big enough and they wouldn't give me a bigger cup or split it up into two cups. They did give me an extra cup, but doing it myself was extremely messy. They were pretty rude about it too, so I had to drive home with this dripping all over my car. Second time I went for ice cream (months later) they accidentally gave me soft serve, but they remade it for me and it was in a bigger cup with a top, so much easier to transport. Everyone was kind and helpful this time around. I would recommend them after this last interaction. It's a very popular spot where lots of older and middle aged couples hang out. There's limited parking, but there are a few tables for people to sit and socialize while you eat.”
