“Breakfast at Shirley’s is always a great experience! My hubby and I go there often. The moment you walk in, it feels like family. The atmosphere is friendly and the decor reminds me of my dad 🥰 whom I miss dearly. It’s like the show CHEERs—a place where everyone knows each other. I cannot speak highly enough of the serving staff and the nice young man that clears and sets up the tables. The food tastes like true home cooking, made with care and attention. Everything is made fresh and made to perfection. You can really tell that a lot of love goes into every plate. Thank you to the amazing kitchen team working behind the scenes! Try the sizzling tender chicken tikka (you can cut with a fork) with its caramelized onion and peppers to the rogan josh with it outstanding flavors. A most for any indian curry lover”

When I questioned it (thinking they'd undercharged me), they apologized, made the other half, then charged me for two half-grinders instead of a whole. I didn't realize until I got home...”

“This is a great establishment all around. The food has always been stellar and a good variety to choose from. I really enjoy the crows nest upstairs (21 and over) for the atmosphere. The waitresses work hard going up and down those stairs for food orders. They make a great burger. The salads are on point. If you are looking for something light they have a sandwich and soup or salad combo. Oh….and don’t forget to ask about the desserts…..those change daily and just add to our food happiness. Thank you Linden Hotel for serving up amazing food, awesome service, and an atmosphere that makes me want to keep coming back!”

“Love going to the brewtique to get a delicious beverage and snack! we run Shiawassee River Shuttle, so we are always getting people in and out of kayaks in the area. Even in the off season, the indoor seating is great to focus and get a little work done. Love Heather and Adam, they're the best ❤️”

“Went to Rocky’s Pizza for the first time today, and let me just say this was the best dining experience I’ve had in years! One of the owners was working the bar and he was just so kind and the food was fast and fantastic! The restaurant was extremely clean, you get a lot of food for not a high ticket. Definitely recommend!”

“Tonight: Combination Fish(wet batter) and Shrimp with Onion Rings. I have tried the dry fish and the fries. Not a complicated menu, which means you expect some basic skills preparing about 6 items. All things done well, REAL WELL! The cole slaw is pretty darn good, also. Pick-up waiting reminds me of real "sit down" Friday Fish Fries. About 5 minutes of Socially Distant chatter waiting for your order. I am curious about protocol for non members having a beer waiting for take out.
