“My son recently moved to the Grand Rapids area and is close to Mr. Burger. We thought we would give it a try as it came highly recommended from one of his neighbors. We were not disappointed. We only tried the burgers and fries but they were really really good and will definitely be back. I cannot speak to the atmosphere of the restaurant as we went through the drive-thru. However, the place was pretty crowded which is another good sign. Much better than any other fast food type Burger joints.“

“Vintage in the Zoo is an institution, definitely a jewel in our fair city. They have all the usual assorted vintage items to peruse, killer DJs, a record vendor cuz duh. Whether you’re in the market for a gently used Harley t shirt, a crochet vest, or art inspired by mushrooms this is the spot! Also the DJs are nice with it too!“

“They've done a great job at keeping that old burger joint atmosphere while having good food that's a solid price. I feel lucky if I'm working near a Mr. Burger and a few staff are always really nice elderly people, and vets.

“Just ate there with my husband, daughter, and grandson. We had heard they had good food. Boy were the reviews right. We had a chili dog, corn dog, smash burgers, and regular fries, and chili fries between all of us. It was great food. The service was great. Everyone was friendly and having a good time. Great experience. Will definitely be going back there.“

“My sister and I were visiting the area and were looking for some wings and were led to this place. From the moment we stepped inside Rico was welcoming, and we struck up a great conversation. He gave us his recommendations about what to try when we told him what we were looking for, and they did not disappoint.

I had the lemon pepper rub and my sister had the wet lemon pepper sauce. The chicken was seasoned perfectly and the flavors were very apparent. He gave us a honey mustard barbecue sauce to sample that was outstanding! Lived it with my fries. Drink options include kool aid, and although I didn’t have any, this was a nice throwback to childhood.

“We went to the location on Plainfield this evening for dinner. We were greeted immediately upon entering the restaurant. Everyone seemed very friendly and the restaurant was clean. Chris the manager took our order, and let me tell you that he’s a wonderful person. I had a few questions as it has been a while since we’ve been to Freddy’s. Chris was very friendly and answered my questions w/out me feeling like I was bothering. The food was hot, the onion rings were awesome. I can’t recommend this location enough. I ordered ice cream to take home to the grandkids, the manager included a few toppings for them. I appreciate you so much! Awesome manager.. awesome customer service.. great food. Stop on in if you’re in the area!“

“I got ribs and my husband got a steak. Food was decent. Its a typical Applebee's. I called in for pickup. There wasn't any utensils or napkins and I had to ask for the extra condiments that I paid for. Its like no one cares anymore.“

I enjoy this place so much I’ve been there twice in a week, and purchased 22 meals from their weekly package meals. “This place got rated as the third best burger in Grand Rapids. Which is untrue. This place has, hands down, the best burger in Grand Rapids. Maybe even the state. The meat they use far surpasses any other burger I've had. I wish I could give it six stars.“

“We were staying at the Holiday Inn Downtown and had just arrived. Both of us were very hungry and saw the hotel has an attached resturant. Not wanting to go much longer with out food we came down here after settling into our room for a bite.

Since neither of us eat red meat the offerings were limited, being a burger joint, but we still found items to our liking. We both went with a big salad and some fried pickles. Which were equally great. I don't remember our server but they were great.

All in all I would recommend.“

“We are a Greek family and love the Greek dishes that Leo's Coney Island offers. We have dined there frequently, often bring friends. The food is always good and the service fantastic. That being said; however, we have decided not to dine there any longer during the cold months, as the owner chooses to keep the dining room quite frigid. We heat our home at 68 degrees and are comfortable at that temp. We have tried mutliptle visits to Leo's Coney Island this winter...and each time the dining room has always been uncomfortablly chilly. When we pay to go out to eat, dining with our winter coats on and still being cold is not a relaxing or enjoyable dining experience. We gave it another try last night visiting around 5:30pm (hoping the furnace was turned up). The dining area was extremely C-O-L-D! This could be why there were not many customers there? We asked the waitress if the heat could be turned up, and she replied, "No, the only person allowed to adjust the temperature is the owner, and he is not here". NOTE to Owner: Saving money by turning down the heat in the cold of winter does not provide a pleasant dining experience for your customers and certainly cannot be good for your business! I figured that ordering some of their meals would be convenient and tasty but it’s way better than anticipated - EVERY BITE has been *delicious*. From their house-made granola to the dinners to the chocolate chip cookies - the quality is incredible. We are so lucky to have them in Creston!“
