“I seek out each city's best burger when I'm on the road, and I can sincerely say after more research than my primary care physician advised...there's no competition even remotely close to Black Napkin's Le College Dropout burger.

The juicy tastiness of the excess smash overhanging the bun alone safely lands it in first place on my list, and that's before even getting to the toppings (trust the chef/creator, don't change anything about this masterpiece).

Don't forget the classic Cola (golden) and rust fries with sundried tomato ranch for dipping (I don't even like sundried tomatoes yet somehow I could eat it with a spoon).

“Just ate there with my husband, daughter, and grandson. We had heard they had good food. Boy were the reviews right. We had a chili dog, corn dog, smash burgers, and regular fries, and chili fries between all of us. It was great food. The service was great. Everyone was friendly and having a good time. Great experience. Will definitely be going back there.“

“My son recently moved to the Grand Rapids area and is close to Mr. Burger. We thought we would give it a try as it came highly recommended from one of his neighbors. We were not disappointed. We only tried the burgers and fries but they were really really good and will definitely be back. I cannot speak to the atmosphere of the restaurant as we went through the drive-thru. However, the place was pretty crowded which is another good sign. Much better than any other fast food type Burger joints.“

“Vintage in the Zoo is an institution, definitely a jewel in our fair city. They have all the usual assorted vintage items to peruse, killer DJs, a record vendor cuz duh. “My son had us drive 52 minutes from Big Rapids to Grand Rapids to try this place. Management was super pleasant. The menu has so many things to choose from. Those perch fish fingers we delicious. We also had wings bone in and boneless and mozzarella sticks. Fountain drinks were a hit also. If in the area give them a try, they won't disappoint.“

“Drove over 2 hours to try Freddy’s Steakburgers - my son had been there before. Gotta say it was worth the drive, the burgers were fabulous (and the fries & custard didn’t disappoint) plus a great road trip with my kids. Staff was super friendly and the restaurant was very clean.“

I was worried it would be one of those awful patties out of a box but it was not - and it was delicious! I would have it again in a heartbeat. “We were staying at the Holiday Inn Downtown and had just arrived. Both of us were very hungry and saw the hotel has an attached resturant. Not wanting to go much longer with out food we came down here after settling into our room for a bite.

Since neither of us eat red meat the offerings were limited, being a burger joint, but we still found items to our liking. We both went with a big salad and some fried pickles. Which were equally great. I don't remember our server but they were great.

All in all I would recommend.“

“We are a Greek family and love the Greek dishes that Leo's Coney Island offers. We have dined there frequently, often bring friends. The food is always good and the service fantastic. That being said; however, we have decided not to dine there any longer during the cold months, as the owner chooses to keep the dining room quite frigid. We heat our home at 68 degrees and are comfortable at that temp. We have tried mutliptle visits to Leo's Coney Island this winter...and each time the dining room has always been uncomfortablly chilly. When we pay to go out to eat, dining with our winter coats on and still being cold is not a relaxing or enjoyable dining experience. We gave it another try last night visiting around 5:30pm (hoping the furnace was turned up). The dining area was extremely C-O-L-D! This could be why there were not many customers there? We asked the waitress if the heat could be turned up, and she replied, "No, the only person allowed to adjust the temperature is the owner, and he is not here". NOTE to Owner: Saving money by turning down the heat in the cold of winter does not provide a pleasant dining experience for your customers and certainly cannot be good for your business!
