“This is hands down the most underrated taqueria in Grand Rapids and the surrounding areas – a true hidden gem for anyone craving authentic Mexican flavors. The menu is refreshingly simple, offering a selection of tacos, tostadas, quesadillas, and chilaquiles, but it’s all you need. The tortillas are handmade, and the meats are full of flavor, tender, and juicy. Tacos come with the traditional toppings of chopped onions and cilantro, and let me tell you, no taco is complete without its perfect companion – salsa! This place takes salsas seriously, offering a range of bold, flavorful options that pack real spice (and there’s something for every spice preference). Unlike the bland, watered-down salsas you often find elsewhere, these are vibrant, complex, and absolutely delicious. The tacos and quesadillas are outstanding, but don’t miss the chilaquiles – especially with the green salsa. They’re hands down the best I’ve had. They also offer nopales – a cactus commonly used in Mexican cuisine – which makes for a great vegetarian option. It’s clear that a lot of love and passion go into every dish, and you can taste it in every bite. I have a deep appreciation for restaurants that go the extra mile to serve truly authentic food, and this place nails it. On top of the amazing food, the customer service is top-notch. “We used Being Cheesy for a work function from the conversation leading up to our event, the day of the event and after everything was top notch. Tom and his team were fabulous and the food was amazing. If you need a food truck for an event I would highly recommend Being Cheesy.“

“This place is awesome for ribs and chicken pulled pork. It was very delicious. Not only that but the place is clean and well taken care of. very nice employees will definitely go back there again.“

“Great ice cream sandwiches. Mixed theme atmosphere.

- So Fetch $6: Probably the best overall for just about anyone. This takes the favorites of cookies and brownies together for a wonderful experience. It was quite cold.

- Toffee Doodle $6: This was a smash hit of a flavor! My grandma made Snickerdoodles when I was a kid and this tasted EXACTLY like that, but maybe a smidge better with the ice cream. I HIGHLY recommend it if you like snickerdoodle.

- Service: The lady helping out was super cool and helpful. Our order came out really fast, but there were no other customers when we ordered. There were a few after and things seemed to be running smoothly overall.

- Atmosphere: With a mixture of old school children’s Disney theme and darker Nightmare Before Christmas, Deadpool, etc. It’s a bit of a juxtaposition for unique individuals. Not my preference.

- Conclusion: They have a nice thing going, but be aware of the theme if you are bringing really little children.

“Today at Taco Fest 11-8 pm . Make sure to hit up The Corner Twist ! Amazing soft pretzels and incredible dips to chose from . We tried the Jalepano cheddar cream cheese , dill pickle dip, and cinnamon cream cheese ! Amazing ! He even gave me a birthday shout out !“
