Slows Burritos

For a quiet Saturday afternoon service was pretty slow. My sandwich was delicious but it would've been nice to have a side included. The macaroni and cheese side was delicious. Also a nice selection of N/A beer.

This restaurant really surprised me in so many ways. I'm used to BBQ restaurants having a very limited menu--ribs, piles of smoked meat, a couple of sandwiches. Slow's really goes beyond that--I had a birria brisket burrito, which was incredible. My husband's ribs were delicious. We are traveling for work and ended up at a conference in East Lansing, ichigan (sorry, not sorry for being a Buckeye!). We searched and found Slows Bar-B-Q in a marketplace style mall. It is worth the trip! Our server, Denise, did a great job recommending some menu items, which helped tremendously because everything looked great. I got the Mac and cheese with pulled pork.
